It’s Potty Training Time At The Sloth Orphanage
Sloths! We love them. This short video was shot at Costa Rica’s Aviarios del Caribe sanctuary for orphaned sloths. If you’ve oftentimes found yourself gazing absentmindedly into the distance and wondering, How do sloths go to the bathroom?, today is your lucky day. Sloths spend most of their time in trees, and come down once a week to take care of business. Because these sloths were raised in captivity, they have to be taught how to use the outdoor potty. Destin Wants To Show You His Chicken Trick
Destin from Alabama would like to share with you his special barnyard animal trick. It all started after he got some chickens for his father. That led to this instructional video in which Destin, who is 29, has very cute dimples, and dreams of being an astronaut (adorable!), explains something having to do with chickens that involves “mutually orthogonal inertial measurement devices” or whatever. The video is enjoyable for two reasons: because the thing with the chicken is kind of interesting to watch, but mostly because we think Destin is cute. Destin, who is, tragically, married. This Gorilla Reunion Will Make You Weep
If you watch only one gorilla reunion video today, make it this one. Here, conservationist Damian Aspinall is reunited with a lowland gorilla named Kwibi that he spent five years raising before the animal was released into the wild. Working with the Aspinall Foundation, which helps reintroduce captive gorillas from Howletts Wild Animal Park in England to a million acre reserve in Gabon, West Africa, Aspinall returned to West Africa, where Kwibi had been released, five years later, to see the gorilla he had helped raise. Nobody knew what would happen. The ape had attacked people. Their reunion is amazing to witness. Also, I would like to marry Aspinall. Oh, dang, he’s dating Elle McPherson. Sucks for me.
