Adam Sandler + Andy Samberg + Vanilla Ice + Ian Ziering + Susan Sarandon = The Best Cast Ever

Whoa—the casting news just won’t stop this week. The Hollywood Reporter has brought us some new details about the movie “I Hate You Dad” which will star Adam Sandler as a father who moves in with his son, Andy Samberg, and quickly begins to feud with his fiancee, Leighton Meester. Oh, but the casting choices only get more exciting from there. Our favorite mother/daughter duo—Eva Amurri and Susan Sarandon—will also be in this flick, with Susan playing a sexy older teacher who seduced Adam Sandler’s character when he was younger. She may or may not be Andy Samberg’s mama.

But—wait, it gets even better. Keep reading »

Bert Gets Down To Brass Tacks With Andy Samberg

Who knew that Bert, as in the best friend of Ernie, was such a hard-hitting interviewer? In this edition of “Conversations with Bert,” his version of “Inside the Actors Studio,” the yellow guy talks to Andy Samberg of “Saturday Night Live.” While Bert missed the obvious question of asking about his threeway with Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga, he did ask how Andy feels about socks. “From my perspective, anyone who has a problem with socks needs to grow up. It’s been a long time coming. Socks are here to stay, and people who are anti-sock, to me, it’s immature, it’s short sighted — short minded,” replied Andy. To which Ernie added: “One day I’m hoping every sock will meet its match.” The rest of the interview is equally as amusing. [Huffington Post] Keep reading »

What Really Happened That “Weekend At Bernie’s”

So we love anything “Weekend at Bernie’s” related–and this parody from “Saturday Night Live” is no exception. This video shows what would probably really happen if two weird dudes tried to pass off a corpse as a real living person (chaos, mayhem and a lengthy court battle). [BuzzFeed] Keep reading »

Are Amy Poehler And Andy Samberg’s New “SNL” Promos Excellent?

This weekend, Amy Poehler is hosting the season premiere of “Saturday Night Live” while Katy Perry will be shaking off the bachelorette hangover as the musical guest. NBC has released the first promos for the episode, featuring Amy along with Andy Samberg. What, was Seth Meyers too busy for a “Weekend Update” reunion? Mostly, Amy and Andy channel “Wayne’s World,” but they also spend a few seconds mocking Ben Affleck, Blake Lively, and “The Town.” Is it just me, or are these spots kinda random? And, uh, not that funny? Also, when did Andy get glasses? [EW] Keep reading »

Whee! Gabourey Sidibe Is Hosting “SNL” This Weekend!

Judging by these promos, Gabourey Sidibe‘s hosting gig on “Saturday Night Live” is going to involve a lot of guns and Andy Samberg with his pants off. (But hopefully not so much high-pitched screaming.) But you know what this means, guys? There’ll actually be a black woman on “SNL” — not just Kenan Thompson in lipstick and a wig. Keep reading »

Andy Samberg Takes On “Elle” Fashion Challenge For “Date Looks”

Over at Elle, Creative Director and Fashionisto Joe Zee has had an epiphany. Complains a fashion editor to Zee, “He won’t understand that it’s all about my new draped devore velvet Balenciaga dress right now. He’ll only think I’m wearing curtains,” as she laments (oh boo hoo) her first-date outfit choices. And then it hits Zee: Women dress differently for guys than they do for girls. You don’t say? It may have taken Zee a while to figure this out but he gets it now, explaining, “It’s a simple fact: He’s Just Not That Into Your Skirt.”

And so Zee enlists hot man Andy Samberg to face-off in a fashion duel of “date looks” to see if Elle editors prefer Zee’s conceptual high-fashion stylings, or if they vote for Mr. Dick in a Box’s horndog looks. The results? Both hilarious and surprising! Keep reading »

“Ms. Taken” Engagement Ring Wards Away Slimeballs

Want to enjoy one night out without terrible pick-up lines, “accidental” groping, and lame dudes? Now, Mstaken.com sells an engagement ring (for $50) to avoid unwanted clingers. As the site instructs, “Slip on the ring—a little bright lie that says you’re married to the man of your dreams (whenever he gets here). When the coast is clear, stash your secret weapon in your keychain. Next time an unwanted suitor lurks near, tap your inner vixen and remember: you’re Ms. Taken!” One teensy problem? According to the guys at the blog Bar Stool Sports, wearing ring bling may actually encourage the unwanted suitors to pursue even more! Ah, the creme de la scum. Maybe Mstaken.com should sell pregnant body suits instead. [Bar Stool Sports]

Anyway, check out the company’s hilarious response to Andy Samberg’s “Saturday Night Live” digital short, “Jizz In My Pants,” called “Puke In My Mouth.” Keep reading »

Monday Menage: The Lonely Island

On “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, Andy Samberg dropped another hot hit, J**z In My Pants, with his boy band “The Lonely Island.” The group is composed of three comedic cuties: “SNL” writer Jorma Taccone, cast member/comedian Andy Samberg, and a music video director with an even more messed up Hebrew name that me, Akiva Schaffer. Together they’ve made the movie “Hot Rod”, a “Hills”/”OC” spoof called “The ‘Bu,” a bunch of film shorts, music vids, and “Awesometown”, one of three rejected TV pilots. (How could anyone tell these babes no?!) However, the good news is, they are set to release a record entitled Incredibad the second week of February! But we just can’t make you wait that long for all their three-pronged sexy. So check these boys out in an early music video for their track “Ka-Blamo!“ above. And if you want to see Jorma dancing around without clothes then this oughta put a smile on your face. [The Lonely Island] Keep reading »

“J**z In My Pants” = Our New Jam

Last night’s digital short on “Saturday Night Live” was a music video for the song “J**z In My Pants” from Andy Samberg and his “band” The Lonely Island. Molly Sims, Jamie Lynn Sigler and, honorary “SNL” cast member, Justin Timberlake, make appearances too, and it is gross/hilarious/highly groovy. Keep reading »
