The Hollywood Reporter has brought us some new details about the movie “I Hate You Dad” which will star Adam Sandler as a father who moves in with his son, Andy Samberg, and quickly begins to feud with his fiancee, Leighton Meester. Oh, but the casting choices only get more exciting from there. Our favorite mother/daughter duo—Eva Amurri and Susan Sarandon—will also be in this flick, with Susan playing a sexy older teacher who seduced Adam Sandler’s character when he was younger. In this edition of “Conversations with Bert,” his version of “Inside the Actors Studio,” the yellow guy talks to Andy Samberg of “Saturday Night Live.” While Bert missed the obvious question of asking about his threeway with Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga, he did ask how Andy feels about socks. “From my perspective, anyone who has a problem with socks needs to grow up. It’s been a long time coming. Socks are here to stay, and people who are anti-sock, to me, it’s immature, it’s short sighted — short minded,” replied Andy. Andy Samberg Takes On “Elle” Fashion Challenge For “Date Looks”

Over at Elle, Creative Director and Fashionisto Joe Zee has had an epiphany. Complains a fashion editor to Zee, “He won’t understand that it’s all about my new draped devore velvet Balenciaga dress right now. He’ll only think I’m wearing curtains,” as she laments (oh boo hoo) her first-date outfit choices. And then it hits Zee: Women dress differently for guys than they do for girls. You don’t say? It may have taken Zee a while to figure this out but he gets it now, explaining, “It’s a simple fact: He’s Just Not That Into Your Skirt.”

And so Zee enlists hot man Andy Samberg to face-off in a fashion duel of “date looks” to see if Elle editors prefer Zee’s conceptual high-fashion stylings, or if they vote for Mr. Dick in a Box’s horndog looks. The results? Both hilarious and surprising! Keep reading »
