You may not know this about me, but I grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona. I don’t mention it often as I felt like a freak of nature there, where silicon and suntanning are a way of life … just not my way. However, I am tickled to hear the rumor that Andy Cohen and his minions were spotted in Scottsdale casting a new “Housewives” franchise for Bravo. Nothing is confirmed, but sources say that Alejandra Nash, soon-to-be-ex-wife of NBA star Steve Nash, has signed on. Apparently she cheated on him and it resulted in a pregnancy. I’m already excited. If such a show came true, it would make for most entertaining television. Trust me. [Perez Hilton] Keep reading »
“On Tuesday, Heidi Montag tweeted ‘Watch out Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Here comes Heidi…’ with a link to an article saying she and her husbland were talking to our producers about coming on the show. Professionally, I’m not supposed to discuss any negotiations so I have to parse my words here. That trash is delusional and I would sooner stab my knives into my eyes than see her on this network.”
– Andy Cohen, Bravo’s Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development and host of “Watch What Happens Live,” named Heidi Montag his “Jackhole of the Week” on last night’s show. Well, I guess that clears that up. [Starcasm] Keep reading »
I’m not surprised that Andy Cohen is ready for a change of pace from the all the “Real Housewives” cat fights that take place on his couch. During the “RHONJ” season two reunion, he even got caught in the fray when Teresa Giudice took him down in one swift panther-like movement in pursuit of Danielle Staub. Scary! Rumor is that Cohen is developing a “Housewives”-esque reality series for Bravo featuring successful gay men in New York City. Keep reading »
Chances are, you didn’t bother to watch yesterday’s video of Danielle Staub performing the stalker-tastic song “Real Close” with Lori Michaels on “Watch What Happens Live.” I know I didn’t the first time around. But the last 20 seconds of the clip is actually where things get interesting—”Real Housewife” Danielle implies that she and Lori are doing the deed. Sure, during the performance, she threw her arm around Lori and sang directly into her eyes. But when the two sat down for an interview with Andy Cohen, Danielle took things to another level. Danielle motioned to Lori sit down in the chair and than draped herself across Lori’s lap. When Andy asks, “Now are you two together?” Lori shook her head “no.” But then Danielle cut her off, petting Lori’s hair and saying, “We’re not saying anything besides that we’re together doing the song, real close.”
Seriously, Danielle? Keep reading »
Surprise! Bravo’s barely publicized “Watch What Happens: Live” premieres tonight. Since you probably haven’t heard about it, let me fill you in. Andy Cohen, Bravo’s Senior Vice President of Production and Programming—a.k.a, the guy who hosts all of the channel’s reunion shows—takes the reigns Thursdays at midnight for a live run down of his favorite weekly moments in pop culture. The half-hour show will include “Bravolebrities” and A-list guests, claims Bravo’s website. Honestly, this show sounds a lot like “The Soup” or “Best Week Ever,” only with our Bravo faves like Danielle Staub.
