Heidi Klum America's Got Talent

If this trend continues, I’m thinking the LLDOAC (Little Leather Dress Of Any Color) will soon replace the LBD (Little Black Dress) as women’s go-to party ensemble. Case in point: Heidi Klum’s fabulous oxblood (are we still calling this color “oxblood”? Have we moved on to “Hematoma” yet?) leather dress, accessorized perfectly with gold earrings and a seriously fierce coordinating manicure (I might have made an appointment at my nail salon as a direct result of seeing this photo). Simple, edgy, stylish. [Photo: Fame/Flynet]

Watch A 6-Year-Old Girl Front A Screamo Band On “America’s Got Talent”

Americas Got Talent
Watch her sing her original song, "Zombie Skin"!

Judging by her sweet face, polka dot dress, and pink tights, most people expected six-year-old “America’s Got Talent” contestant Aaralyn to sing a cute version of “Animal Crackers In My Soup,” but that’s not Aaralyn’s music style of choice. When she took the stage, backed by her nine-year-old brother Izzy on the drums, something totally unexpected — and totally awesome — came out of her mouth: an original screamo song called “Zombie Skin.” Just push play, OK? You won’t regret it. [YouTube]

Lulu the plus size pole dancer
Watch Video

A spirit animal is supposed to be someone who encapsulates your essence, your soul, your very spirit. When I saw Lulu the Plus Size Pole Dancer, I knew I had found mine. Even though she’s a bigger girl, Lulu took the stage of “America’s Got Talent” in front of millions of viewers and swung herself around the pole oozing confidence. (And I’ve taken a pole dancing class: those moves are haaaard.) The judges did not seem too impressed, so I’m not quite sure she’s got a lot of talent. But Lulu sure has hell has gumption. [E! Male Pole Dancer Wows On “America’s Got Talent”

I have a new favorite contestant on “America’s Got Talent,” one who I think rivals Prince Poppycock in grandeur. His name is Steve Retchless and he is a “pole-fessional.” In other words, he’s a pole dancer. “You don’t usually think of males in pole dancing,” said Howie Mandel after his intro. Steven’s response? “That’s why I’m here.” And yes, he was pretty freaking awesome dancing to Katy Perry’s “E.T.” I even like the way this dude fell. While one judge x-ed him quickly when he dared do a split, I’m so glad Sharon Osbourne and Nick Cannon stood up for him. “Talent is talent. It doesn’t matter if you’re wearing high heels,” said Nick. LeAnn Rimes Takes A Page From The Katy Perry Playbook

I must admit I am not a follower of LeAnn Rimes’ music, only her love life and her Lifetime movie acting career, so I don’t know much about what her recent music has been like. But I must say, her performance on Wednesday night’s “America’s Got Talent” suggests she’s been taking cues from Jessica Simpson and Katy Perry. What’s up with the retro bathing suit? Also, Eddie Cibrian should maybe be a little concerned — at one point, LeAnn straddles a backup dance; that’s how her first marriage (to backup dancer Dean Sheremet got its start. Gabourey Sidibe’s Mom Wows On “America’s Got Talent”

Gabourey Sidibe may be an Oscar-nominated actress, but her mom, at 58, is still chasing her own dreams. Alice Tan Ridley has been a subway singer for 20 years and finally got a big break on “America’s Got Talent” this week (clip above). Could she be America’s answer to Susan Boyle? Time will tell!
