“American Horror Story: Coven” has been over for a few weeks now, but our love for Fiona, Myrtle, Cordelia and the rest of the witch gang is forever. So, imagine our excitement when we stumbled upon a collection of “AHS: Coven”-inspired fan artwork (totally frame-worthy, IMHO) from members of the deviantART community. To see the whole collection, head over to depthRADIUS, but first check out our gallery to see which pieces were our favorites.
It’s finally time for the world to learn the fate of the witches we’ve come to love and loathe from “American Horror Story: Coven.” I’ve been faithfully watching all season, and I’m not ready for the sick and twistedness to end, but tonight’s season finale is sure to shock, as the girls of the Coven will test their powers to determine who will become the new Supreme.
But before we find out who will become Queen Witch Bitch, we’ve come up with a few scenarios that could happen, and a few that probably won’t … but would kick ass anyway. Keep reading »
Stevie Nicks should really guest star on every TV show as herself. Last night on “American Horror Story: Coven,” the “white witch” showed up to serenade her old friend, coven Supreme, Fiona, and die-hard fanwitch, Misty, with a version of “Rhiannon.” If that weren’t enough, Stevie also showed Misty how to do her signature move, the shawl twirl, and gifted the young witch with her signature item, which no doubt is filled with all sorts of white magic. Sadly, Madison convinced Misty that “players only love you when they’re playin’” and that Stevie probably had tons of other superfans who she played private concerts for (ME! ME! PLEASE!). But Madison was playin’ her. She knocked Misty out cold and stole the shawl — nice hustle, girl! — and Stevie was left to play once again for Fiona. Best use of a TV plot involving Stevie Nicks and her music. You can relive the white witch’s version of “Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You” after the jump. Keep reading »
‘Twas the night before Halloween
And all through the house
Not a creature was stirring
Except for the crazy bitches on “American Horror Story: Coven.”
So, naturally, The Frisky will be live tweeting through tonight’s show!

Did you watch the premiere of “American Horror Story: Coven” last night? What did you think? While I thought this first episode was more brutal than scary (um, that gang rape scene was so upsetting), I am excited about this season’s potential, given that it’s based on real life events and people. In fact, Madame Marie Delphine LaLaurie, played by the incredible Kathy Bates (clip above), is a real person who actually existed and did many of the vile, deranged and cruel things we can expect to see more of as the season progresses. After the jump, let’s get to know the 1830′s socialite turned serial killing slave torturer! Keep reading »
If we were to rate how excited we are for tonight’s “American Horror Story: Coven” premiere on a scale from one to 10, it’s up there with the possibility of a “Friends” reunion, the moon landing, my mom’s meatloaf and the black hole that will hopefully one day absorb Justin Bieber, coming in at a whopping 99+.
In case you didn’t catch that, we are PUMPED.
