Winona Ryder Plotting To Steal Johnny Depp Away From Amber Heard

I know a lot of you could probably give a damn about this story but, because Winona Ryder and “Little Women” were the closest things to perfection to me in my pre-teen, formative years, a Johnny Depp/Winona Ryder story will always be high on my radar.

…. Even if the story comes from the National Enquirer and is laughable at best.

Apparently Winona senses trouble in the Amber Heard situation and is itching to inch her way back into Johnny’s good graces. According to sources, Amber has been hounding Johnny to go public with their relationship and his reluctance is driving her back into the arms of her lesbian lover. The single life doesn’t seem like it’s been too calming for Johnny, does it? So, Winona recognizes the fact that she and Johnny got engaged and serious too young but sees now as the perfect time to rekindle their love. Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis keep showing signs that the two are rekindling their relationship even after Depp broke Vanessa’s heart last month and was seen around town with his “Rum Diary” co-star, Amber Heard.

First, as I already reported, Johnny vacationed with Vanessa and their children:Lily-Rose and Jack, in the south of France a few weeks back and while they were there Johnny gifted his jilted former partner of 14 years with an antique gold pendant with the inscription “My heart is always with you.”  At the time, the gift and the pendant were enough to cause people to speculate that Johnny and Vanessa were back together and trying to work their relationship out for the sake of their children. I’ve got nothin’ against Amber Heard, but when I heard the rumor that Johnny Depp had split from his longtime partner (and the mother of his children) Vanessa Paradis to start a romance with the much younger actress, I was deeply disappointed. Why, Johnny, why? Are there any middle-aged men who are impervious to the charms of a lady 20 years their junior? But maybe this rumor isn’t so true. Heard was photographed traipsing around Los Angeles with Tasya Van Ree, the woman who was, up until recently (or so we thought), her girlfriend. In another photo (after the jump), they appear pretty happy! Maybe they’re still together after all and Johnny and Vanessa’s split has nothing to do with his fooling around with his bisexual costar? I hate the expression “_____ is the new _____” as much as the next person, but I’m still going to put it out there: is Amber Heard the new Scarlett Johansson? She certainly has the lips (and the legs) to become a viable Hollywood sex symbol (if she hasn’t already, that is), but she also has an ultra-hip downtown edginess to her that is, in my opinion, unrivaled by the other blonde bombshells of her ilk. Amber Heard Needs To STFU About “The Playboy Club” Until She Reads A History Book

“The Playboy Club” is the number one TV series I’m excited about this fall. How could I not be psyched for (another) show about the ’60s and the fight for women’s equality? Feminist icon Gloria Steinem, who went undercover as a Bunny/waitress for a magazine exposé in 1963, is calling for a boycott of the show, but I truly hope it will instead provoke lots of discussion and have some teachable moments.

So, I read with interest an interview with actress Amber Heard in Playboy magazine. As the star of the show, she does not have an easy path ahead of her. In every single interview, she will be asked her opinions about Playboy Clubs and women who worked as bunnies/waitresses — on some level, to justify the show’s existence. Keep reading »
