A lot of celebs say that they love their dogs, but Amanda Seyfried really loves her mutt Finn — as in, more paparazzi shots exist of Amanda with Finn than without him. Last year, she even told OK! that she didn’t have time for dating because she just wanted to spend time with her dog, which I think is totally respectable, no? To be honest, I one-hundred-percent understand why Finn is the only man in her life: he is so handsome. Look at that lustrous coat! [Photo: FameFlynet]
“I’m terrified of being promiscuous. I don’t like the feeling you get when it’s not something that you truly want to do, and I hate the emotional abuse you give yourself afterward. It’s just uncomfortable when you’re with somebody and you’re like, ‘I don’t really know if I’m even comfortable with this. Why did I? Eww!’ I think dating can come without sex. I think that’s a really fun way to do it. Right now I’m happy to not have someone’s naked body around me. Except for my dog’s.”
– Amanda Seyfried on her fear of promiscuity in the March issue of Glamour. I respect what she’s saying about not sleeping with someone too soon, but her statement felt a little “doth protesteth too much.” I don’t think all of us feel “terrified” or “emotionally abuse” ourselves after a casual hookup. And the bit about her dog’s naked body? A bit odd. Based on this and some previous statements Amanda has made about only eating spinach and seeds, I suspect it’s not so fun to be her. [Celebitchy]
Sweet little Amanda Seyfried from the musical “Mamma Mia!” doesn’t make the words “porn star” come to mind. But if you saw that stone-cold fox sex it up with Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore as a call girl in “Chloe,” you know she won’t have any trouble playing Linda Lovelace for a biopic about the porn star. “Lovelace” will focus on the star of “Deep Throat,” an iconic ’70s skin flick about a woman whose clitoris is in the back of her throat, so she can only orgasm from … well, you know. [The Wrap]
Amanda isn’t the only actress in Hollywood who’ve made a movie premiere an extremely awkward moment for their mama. After the jump, more actors and actresses who’ve played porn stars.
Woo hoo! The trailer for “In Time,” the sci fi thriller starring Justin Timberlake, is out. The concept is this: in a dystopian future, people die at age 25. However, the rich can buy more time while the poor simply have their clocks wind down. Wait, is that Pete Campbell from “Mad Men“? How creepy is it when he introduces his mother-in-law, his wife, and his daughter and they all three look exactly the same age? But getting back to the story, when Justin’s character is accused of murder, he kidnaps the daughter, Amanda Seyfried, and holds her hostage lest his time run out. And—yee haw—they end up falling for each other. And maybe getting it on in the shower? Yeah, I am a little too excited for this movie. How about you? Keep reading »
“It was a mind trip for me. Olivia is two or three years younger than me, so to have her playing my mother was definitely a head trip. I’d just like to point out that [my song] ‘Mother Lover’ is about sexing up someone else’s mother.”
—Justin Timberlake talks at Comic-Con about his new action flick, “In Time,” in which he stars alongside Amanda Seyfried and Olivia Wilde. In the movie, scientists have figured out how to stop the aging process so that people remain forever 25—but for a high price. Which means that in the movie, characters who are far older in numerical age look the same as everyone else. Hence, how Olivia can play Justin’s mom.
