Alison Gold Is Done Celebrating "Chinese Food," Gets Roofied In Weird Video For "ABCDEFG"
R Is For Roofied?

Alison Gold is one of those post-Justin Bieber/Rebecca Black aspiring pop star types who is looking to hit it big via the interwebs. Her first effort was the vaguely racist ode to egg rolls and wonton soup, “Chinese Food,” the video for which featured her creepy producer, Patrice Wilson, bouncing around in a panda suit. The video for her latest song, “ABCDEFG,” has Wilson in an even creepier role as a guy at a club who keeps putting mysterious “potions” in Gold’s drink as she sings about the alphabet with a bunch of Muppets. “Sesame Street” this is not. I doubt Jim Henson would approve. [Fishwrapper]

What The Fresh Hell Is This?!

Listen, I love to go to the mall and gorge on Panda Express as much as the next MSG-addicted person, but this is too much. Behold, tween Alison Gold’s ode to chow mein and egg rolls, “Chinese Food.” Ark Music Factory co-founder Patrice Wilson —  the guy who brought us Rebecca Black and her shit hit song “Friday” – wrote the song and appears in the video, rapping in an “Asian accent” and dressed up like a panda bear, all while Gold sings and little geishas prance. It’s all so wrong. But also it made me hungry. [Huffington Post]
