– Ali Lohan laughs off rumors that the seemingly sudden change in her facial appearance this year was the result of plastic surgery. I have no idea what led to Ali’s “new” look — surgery, an eating disorder, puberty, whatever — but her question is hilarious. Does she not realize that the public perception of Dina Lohan — mom to her and, uh, Lindsay Lohan — is exactly that of a parent who would sign off on her teenage daughter getting drastic plastic surgery? I assumed Lindsay Lohan’s little sister would be “pursuing a modeling career” posing for Lindz’s clothing line (BTW, does that still exist?), but not actually modeling. “Ali Lohan Has A New Face.” “A 17-year-old shouldn’t have a plastic surgeon playing Frankenstein with her face.” “Ali Lohan Gets Crazy Plastic Surgery, No Longer Looks Like A Lohan.” “R.I.P. Ali Lohan‘s old face, 1993-2011.” These are just a few of the headlines and comments being written about Lindsay Lohan’s younger sister Ali, who recently signed a contract with NEXT Model Management. Clearly Ali looks shockingly different in this recent photo (you can see others here) than she did just two years ago (inset). Her lips appear to be a bit fuller, her cheekbones are more pronounced, and her eyes seem wider; the general consensus among writers on the internet is that she’s had drastic plastic surgery. But while I wouldn’t put it past Dina Lohan to give the thumbs up to her 17-year-old putting her face under the scalpel, my first thought upon seeing these photos was, Oh my god, she must have an eating disorder. You might have thought when Lindsay Lohan got locked up, we’d be granted a reprieve from her 24/7 news coverage. Haha, no. Tracking LiLo’s day-to-day goings-on is just as breathless when she’s in jail as when she’s posing in the nude. Fortunately for those of us who couldn’t care less about her jailhouse dinner menu, Lindsay may only serve two weeks of her 90-day sentence as prisoner #24097527.
