As a way to pass the time this weekend, I decided to take five minutes and make a list of all the people/places/things I love unconditionally. For the first 60 seconds, I couldn’t stop staring my dusty floorboards. However, once I finally focused on something other than the brood of dust bunnies huddled between my bed and my nightstand, I put pen to paper and came up with four sacred items. That might not sound like a lot, but I’m relatively proud of my choices.
On Leslie’s list of the things she loves unconditionally—and in no particular order—includes the following:
- My parents
- The family of Gund Snuffles teddy bears I sleep with every night. (Don’t hate the stuffed animal player; hate the stuffed animal game.)
- Jimmy John’s Sandwiches, particularly the #4 Turkey Tom with no tomato and light mayo.
- The phrase, “I want to go to there.”
- “Gilmore Girls”
Seeing that Netflix recently made the announcement that, starting Oct. 1, all seven seasons of “Gilmore Girls” will be available for streaming, you can imagine I’ve been walking on sunshine for the past week. Instead of gnawing on my cuticles and furiously cleaning my floorboards, I decided to put my Stars Hollow-inspired energy to good use and come up with a list of the Top 10 Must-See Episodes Of “Gilmore Girls.” Keep reading »
Ever since the “Fifty Shades of Grey” fan trailer frenzy first broke out, the actress formerly and best known as Rory Gilmore, Alexis Bledel, has been “cast” as Anastasia Steele. Again and again, she’s showed up on YouTube “opposite” the likes of Matt Bomerand Henry Cavill as Christian Grey! it’s clear she’s quickly become a fan favorite for the role, but she herself has kept mum on the subject of going up for the super-steamy, extremely coveted part. Until now, that is!
At the premiere of her new Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, “Remember Sunday,” Alexis actually addressed the potential for her involvement in the flick. Read more on The Stir…
If you enjoyed the clandestine sex scenes between Pete Campbell and Rory Gilmore, we mean Beth Dawes, on “Mad Men” this season, you’ll be pleased to know that these two may be carrying on off set as well. Allegedly, Vincent Kartheiser and Alexis Bledel were spotted canoodling on a flight from JFK to LAX yesterday. Although they haven’t let on about the relationship, if it is true, we think it’s kind of cute. As long as neither of them are involved with other people and she doesn’t do it in fur, why not? BUT and this comes with a big BUT, dating your TV co-star is a risky move. No matter how many times we warn them, TV show stars keep falling in love with each other—knowing full well that if it doesn’t work out that they’re stuck working with their ex for seasons to come. Here are a few television showmance casualties. We hope Vincent and Alexis don’t succumb to the same fate. [ONTD]
I’m of the opinion that Alexis Bledel is one of the prettiest people on the planet. Did you know she’s 30? She looks eternally 16, like Rory Gilmore, her character on “The Gilmore Girls.” Anyway, these days Alexis is sullying herself as Pete Campbell’s married paramour on “Mad Men” (she could do so much better!), but this outfit is all sort of classy. Demure and ladylike, but also modern. And the red lip adds the perfect pop of color. Love.
