On this week’s episode of “Pretty Wild,” our girl Alexis Neirs has been invited to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico to do a charity event for Haiti. But seeing as Alexis is embroiled in legal trouble for her alleged participation in the Hollywood “bling ring” — a group of L.A. teens who police say robbed the homes of celebrities — she wants to check with her lawyer first. This clip makes it seem like if Alexis just whines enough, her lawyer will “let” her go! But at least he hilariously warns Alexis that “bounty hunters” will track her down if she tries to flee justice a lá rape-y old Roman Polanski (although she’d have her E! reality crew in tow, natch). This week on “Pretty Wild,” our “bling ring” buddy Alexis Neiers is planning little sister Gabby‘s Sweet 16 party with her pal, Tess. It’s just your average 16-year-old’s birthday party: a red carpet, a “Gabby-tini,” pole dancing, catered Italian food.

But somebody wants FONDUE instead, damn it. “This is my 16th birthday!” Gabby shrieks. “Not some kind of whore party!”

Alexis Neiers And The Hollywood Bling Ring Make A Date With “Dateline”

Our new-favorite-least-favorite reality show, “Pretty Wild,” didn’t post any videos online this week, so we have no idea what party girl Alexis Neiers and her pals are up to.

Thankfully, the evening news program “Dateline” has stepped in to keep a steady stream of spoiled-child dumbassery flowing freely! Friday at 9 p.m. (EST), “Dateline” will air a spot on the Hollywood “bling ring,” which is the group of Los Angeles teenagers — including Alexis Neiers, pre-reality show — who allegedly broke into the homes of actors and actresses to steal their clothes, money and jewelry. In the latest episode of “Pretty Wild,” Alexis Neiers and Tess Taylor did a photo shoot with Vernon Davis, tight end for the San Francisco 49ers, where they dressed up as cheerleaders. I blame the pom-poms for why a grown-ass man like Davis would agree to a “date” with Alexis afterwards. (Guess he never heard of her alleged involvement in the “bling ring”? Cue the jailbait jokes … )

Confession: I haven’t actually watched that new E! show, “Pretty Wild,” about L.A. party girl Alexis Neiers and her many, many troubles. But if the above clip of Alexis, her little sis Gabby Neiers, and their mom — reacting to Alexis getting busted for allegedly robbing celebs’ homes in a “bling ring” — is any indication of what “Pretty Wild” is all about … I’ll pass, thanks.

One thought, though: I get that pretty girls allegedly stealing celebs’ s**t is SCANDALOUS and all. But before we join in on the national pastime of spanking these bad girls — now it’s Alexis and her friend, Tess Taylor; a few years ago it was Paris Hilton — let’s hold on for a second. Shouldn’t we save up our sputtering outrage for the less “sexy” criminals — say, murderers, sexual abusers, and rapists? Just a idea. Keep reading »

Reality TV is getting a new potential sociopath we’ll love to hate: Alexis Neiers, star of the E! show “Pretty Wild,” airing on Sunday, March 14. “Pretty Wild” will star 18-year-old Neiers, her sister Gabby, 15, their friend, Tess Taylor, 19, and the mama bear of the Neiers clan, former model Andrea Arlington. But what starts out as just another party-girls-of-L.A. reality show turns into something different when Neiers is busted as a “Bling Ring” burglar who robs clothes, jewelry and cash from the homes of celebs like Paris Hilton and Orlando Bloom. Ruh roh!

Meet Alexis Neiers, An L.A. Party Girl Turned “Bling Ring” Burglar And Reality Star

Meet Alexis Neiers, the quintessential L.A. party kid: Her mom is a former Playboy Playmate, her dad was the director of photography on “Friends” and she lives on a pretty street in Westlake Village with her mom and a party girl pal, 20-year-old Tess Taylor, a Playboy Cyber Girl. Neiers and Taylor hit up L.A. night life hot spots so much that E! offered the girls a reality show, “Pretty Wild,” airing this March.

If things had gone differently for Neiers, “Pretty Wild” could have set her on a course to become the next Paris Hilton. But this is where the story gets weird: Neiers and friends are actually “the bling ring,” a group of 18- and 19-year-old burglars who Los Angeles police have linked to multiple burglaries of celebrities’ homes, including Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Bilson, Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox, Audrina Patridge, and Orlando Bloom. Now, Vanity Fair reports, “Pretty Wild” is not so much about the L.A. party scene as it is following Neiers’ seems-to-be-destined path to jail. Keep reading »
