This just might be my favorite Entertainment Weekly cover ever. Since Sunday night brings the “True Blood” season four premiere, EW has issued three covers featuring Anna Paquin posing “American Gothic”-style alongside Alexander Skarsgard, Joe Maganeillo, and her real-life husband Stephen Moyer. My fave is this Alexander one, because both of them have such perfect expressions. My least favorite has to be the Joe version, which you can check out after the jump. In real life, Alcide is the character I lust after the most—just not in those overalls. But nevermind what I think, pick your favorite after the jump. Keep reading »
It doesn’t get much hotter than this! “True Blood” star Alexander Skarsgard got all dressed up for Vogue magazine and looked sexier than ever! The actor also revealed some tidbits about the upcoming highly anticipated season of his hit HBO show, including what becomes of his character Eric Northman.
Alexander admits that at first, he wasn’t sure he wanted to take on the “True Blood” role of the sexy vampire. “I was nervous about doing a TV series, because I wasn’t sure I wanted to play the same character over and over,” he told Vogue.
However, he quickly changed his mind, adding, “But this season is really fun. Eric gets amnesia and becomes like a big child.” Read more… Keep reading »
While I think we’d all love to be Bill’s bitch, there’s a perfectly good explanation for these tees.“True Blood” studs Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard just competed against each other in the Battle Of The Fangs, a fundraiser for Gulf Aid and SOS Children’s Villages. Together they raised $70K, yay! But Team Bill edged out Team Eric by a mere $892. So, Alex’s T-shirt got made because he wound up on the bottom, er, losing the bet. FYI: Moyer’s T says “I Like My Bitches Blonde.” Ha! Anyway, boys, I have an idea. Next time, how about you go shirtless for charity? [L.A. Rag Mag] Keep reading »
“We showed up and we shot very PG-13 with our clothes on for basically the whole day, like six or seven hours. Then towards the end the photographer said, ‘I have this, these shots are beautiful and the magazine is going to be happy with them but I’d like to try something if you guys are game.’ He explained it and it was just one of those things in the moment where we all looked at each other, we’d spent all day with the photographer, we felt comfortable with him, we knew that he was great and the atmosphere was right and we were like, ‘F*** it, let’s do it.’ No one thought that the magazine would go for it.”

OK, so technically these are “busts” not action figures since they don’t have legs and aren’t really meant to be played with. In other words, you can’t make Bill, Sookie, and Eric have a threesome by rubbing their figurines together the way I might have done with Barbie, Ken, and Midge, but I digress. Bill and Sookie’s busts are pretty accurate, but Eric’s does not even come close to capturing ASkar’s essence, at least in the face. The body is pretty hot though. For a toy, er, display piece I mean. [$69.99 each, HBO] Keep reading »
I don’t know where Michael K from Dlisted unearthed these vintage Alexander Skarsgard shots from, but they are like sunshine on this horribly rainy day. Also like sunshine on a rainy day? ASkars being born — it’s his birthday today! [Dlisted] Keep reading »
Yeah, I would have preferred a more homoerotic pose on Rolling Stone‘s “True Blood” cover too. Only, I would have thrown in a naked and bloody Alcide for a little extra testosterone. [Camp Blood] Keep reading »
“I don’t want a sock around it, that feels ridiculous. If we’re naked in the scene, then I’m naked. I’ve always been that way.”

“I went back to my trailer and I concentrated. I did some acting exercises. I was playing the archetype of a lover, so I put on a sexy, slow song and almost did like a belly dance … Many people told me, ‘Oh, just close your eyes and think of him as a woman.’ But no, because that is a totally different energy … I had to open myself to be able to actually be attracted to him, like, really attracted to him … I’m glad I did it, because every time you face your fears you move forward. But my mother will get the DVD without that scene.”

“True Blood” star Alexander Skarsgard is the new face of Hickey Freeman. Shot by Annie Leibovitz, this photo puts way too much emphasis on the clothes and not enough on Alex’s sexy ass features. Keep reading »
