Miranda Lambert Was Worried About Blake Shelton’s Language At Last Night’s ACM Awards
“I told CBS, my advice for you is a three-second delay because you never know what’s going to come out of his mouth, and you might not want that on live TV. He’s so quick and so great at ad-libbing—probably too good.”
—Miranda Lambert gives a word of warning about her fiance, Blake Shelton, who co-hosted last night’s Academy of Country Music Awards along with Reba McEntire. Miranda ended up taking home the award for Best Female Vocalist. The other big winners of the night were Brad Paisley (Best Male Voclist), Lady Antebellum (Top Vocal Group, Album of the Year) and, duh, Taylor Swift (Entertainer of the Year). But Steven Tyler, Rihanna, Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon also made appearances, making the whole night seem just a touch less country than normal. [People, MTV] Keep reading »
