Having her name butchered by John Travolta at the Academy Awards on Sunday has maybe turned out to be the best thing to happen to Idina Menzel. While the actress and singer was already famous before Travolta’s marble mouth introduced her as “Adele Dazeem,” this completely unscripted and hilarious moment has, kinda sorta, made her a household name. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s been an uptick in interest in Menzel’s Broadway show, If/Then. I loved Kerry Washington and Margot Robbie deep wine-colored lips, Kate Hudson, Sandra Bullock and Jessica Biel’s Veronica Lake-inspired side-swept waves and Olivia Wilde’s vaguely retro cat eye.
