Oh, Stefon, how we have missed you so! The “Saturday Night Live” skit featuring Bill Hader cracking up at his own jokes actually managed to top itself this week. I cannot even tell you the major snorts I snorted after hearing Stefon’s impression of “Donald Duck waking up from a Vietnam dream.” Also, maybe the best line ever? “This place has everything: shutes, ladders, the outdoor concert from a Zoloft commercial.” Indeed! On this week’s criminally unfunny “Saturday Night Live,” featuring underused host Jennifer Lawrence, there was one actually hilarious moment; the show did a faux commercial for Starbucks’ new enhanced Verismo system, which gives you the authentic Starbucks customer experience. Nobody spelling your name right? Check. Getting your drink wrong? Yup. Excessively long wait times? Uh huh. And a cornucopia of gross coffee refuse strewn about everywhere? You betcha.
The last time Joseph Gordon-Levitt hosted “Saturday Night Live,” he performed a musical number and did a righteous backflip during his opening monologue. Oh yeah, and Number #1 Fan Julie Gerstein was in the country to watch him on TV. Not this time! JG is on vacay while JGL is on “SNL,” but hopefully she’s got it on her TiVo. OK, TTYL. [NBC]

And that’s a good, especially since rumors persist that key lady cast member Kristin Wiig will be leaving at the end of this season. Squee! Rumor has it “Saturday Night Live” has added a female cast member named Kate McKinnon and she is someone we already know and love around these parts! Kate starred in “Vag Magazine,” the kickass webseries that spoofed women who work at a feminist magazine, as the flaky girl Bethanny. Comedic Kate hails from the Upright Citizens Brigade, appeared on LOGO’s “The Big Gay Sketch Show” and has a movie coming out called “Hannah Has A Ho-Phase,” which sounds right up our alley. Deadline Hollywood reports that “SNL” head honcho Lorne Micheals has been auditioning several ladies for the show and Kate will debut next Saturday in the episode hosted by Sofia Vergara. The Mary Sue tells us that Kate is the first out lesbian to ever appear on the show and she’ll be the first openly gay cast member in 27 years. Mazel tov, Kate McKinnon — we’re a fan already. Well lookie here, it appears that Lindsay Lohan’s promos for her episode of “Saturday Night Live” aren’t looking so bad after all. This weekend will be her fourth time hosting, so she knows what she’s getting into, and supposedly has told producers that “nothing is off limits.” Hopefully they’ll be mildly kind (while still packing a punch).
