Quotable: Tom Cruise Finally Explains The Oprah Couch-Jumping Incident Of 2005

“What happened, happened. … I wanted the audience to be happy just like I wanted to make my sisters and my mother happy when I did those skits as a kid. But I’ll take responsibility for my actions. … Afterward, wild things were being said about me, and once they’re in the ether, there’s nothing you can do about it. It felt like being the new kid in the schoolyard again and the other kids are whispering and whispering about you and suddenly you hear what they’re saying, and you think, What? That didn’t happen. Look at the reality of the situation.”

Will And Jada Overshare About Their Sex Life On Oprah

Will Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and basically their whole family (seriously, the kids and his mom too!) appeared on “Oprah” yesterday, which meant it was the perfect time to talk about the couple’s sex life. Again. Jada has a lil’ habit of oversharing about how she and her actor husband keep things, um, frisky. It always comes off as a little try-too-hard to me, like the couple is attempting to convince us of something — like, I dunno, that neither of them are gay, as rumors have often alleged? Oprah’s “Twilight” Special: The 6 Best Moments To Sink Your Teeth Into

When Lewis Carroll penned the line, “The time has come the walrus said,” I am sure he was referring to the “Twilight” episode of “Oprah.” Right? Well, the special has been plugged for a while and got its biggest push this week when rumors erupted that Kristen Stewart was having Robert Pattinson’s baby. I think most Twi-hards haven’t stopped squealing since—the ones in Oprah’s studio audience certainly hadn’t. The Big O rounded up some of the most manic fans out there, including that one who was holding up a sign that said, “Imprint Me.” After sitting through all the the audience’s screams and a hefty helping of Kristen’s awkwardness, I’ve narrowed it down to the six best moments. Kristen Stewart And Robert Pattinson’s Baby: An OK Magazine Rendering

Okay, OK Magazine. We get that you want to milk this story that Robert Pattinson said he and Kristen Stewart are having a baby, even though it was incredibly obvious that he was kidding when he divulged this to Oprah. But if you were going to do a sketch of what their baby would like like, did you really have to give it eyeliner, gelled hair, and an almost-goatee? Couldn’t you have done the composite for real—I mean, isn’t there an app for that? Also, why call this the Robsten baby when it should obviously be StewPatz? [OK] Keep reading »

The First Reviews For “Eclipse” Are In

To any true “Twihard,” getting to see “Eclipse” months before opening night is far better than getting a shiny new car. So, naturally, Oprah decided to treat a very lucky studio audience—who also got to watch her interview Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning, and Taylor Lautner—to a special advance screening of the movie which doesn’t open until June 30. (Her show with the film’s stars airs May 13.)

Naturally, the audience had to sign oodles of disclosure forms swearing they would not reveal the plot. But many have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the flick. Keep reading »

Oprah Makes Naomi Campbell’s Ballerina Dreams Come True!

Naomi Campbell, super-temperamental supermodel, was on “Oprah” today explaining her erratic and often, uh, pissy behavior. I must admit I missed the episode, but I did find this awesome clip online, where Oprah rewards Campbell with the privilege of dancing on stage at the Bolshoi Ballet, as well as taking a class with a legendary Bolshoi instructor. On second thought, maybe some time with a rigid, ass-kicking Russian ballet teacher is just what Naomi needs… [Oprah.com] Keep reading »
