Some Thoughts On The News That Pete Doherty & Macaulay Culkin Are Roommates

According to reports, Pete Doherty and Macaulay Culkin are now living as roommates in Paris. Culkin is effectively “home not alone.” Rachel and I have so many questions.

Me: Rachel, what do you think an average day in the Macaulay Culkin/Pete Doherty home is like? I think it goes something like this: Wake up, cigarettes, cartoons, Pete and Macaulay both spend a couple of hours trying to get their agents on the phone. Then more cigarettes.  Then online poker.

Rachel: Pete plays a little guitar, puts on a ton of bracelets.

Me: Oh my, we haven’t even gotten to the part of the day where they do their hair together.

Macaulay Culkin has been off the grid for awhile now, popping up looking sort of frail, which some gossip mongers attributed to a possible heroin addiction, but maybe Macaulay has just been too focused on his art to eat? And by art, I mean the paintings he’s apparently been working on with the two friends in his “collective” 3M. They just debuted their first pieces, among them this portrait of a dog playing poker (top), and another featuring He-Man painting the guys from “Seinfeld” (bottom). That one is my favorite. Also, I would much rather believe that Mac has just been devoted to painting, not shooting up, you know? [Buzzfeed]

The word on the street is that Macaulay Culkin might be the biological father of Michael Jackson‘s youngest son, Blanket, also known as Prince Michael II. Michael and Macaulay became besties in 1990 when Macaulay was 10 years old, and the two got some grief for sharing a bed when Macaulay stayed at Neverland Ranch. Macaulay had to be a witness in Michael’s 2005 child molestation trial, and the two stayed friends after.
