Both Winona and I agree: Whoever’s been styling Eva Longoria of late has been doing a bang up job. Here she is leaving Beso Restaurant in L.A. (of which she’s an owner) looking totally smoking in red. Maybe she saw our rad red shopping guide?
This shade of green was my #1 top fave color when I was in seventh grade. I owned a collection of horrifyingly unflattering lime green T-shirts, and I even painted my room this color (with bright orange trim, naturally). I laid my lime green love to rest years ago, but seeing this gorgeous dress on Eva Longoria is bringing back those old familiar feelings. Who knew lime green could look downright sophisticated when paired with dark nail polish and tan strappy sandals? My seventh grade self sure didn’t (I usually paired it with tattered leggings and an American Girl jacket). Note taken. [Photo: Fame/Flynet]
Let’s ignore the fact that from the neck up Eva Longoria seems to be rapidly morphing into a Kardashian, and talk about her awesome outfit instead. I’m in love with everything from the crisp white shift dress to the trendy peep toe booties and–gulp–Birkin bag. Want to steal her style at a much, much, much more affordable price point? How does Eva Longoria get over the breakup blues? By setting other people up on national television! The “Desperate Housewives” star is developing a primetime dating show for NBC where contestants will be matched by well-known matchmakers like Steve Ward (from VH1′s “Tough Love”) and set up on dates. I would love this show to be a fusion of the drama in “The Bachelor” with classically funny and raunchy dating shows like “Blind Date“ and “Elimidate.” I am sure a host like Longoria will have no problem bringing the sex appeal. And who knows — maybe she might even be funny. The working title is “All About Love” and sources say it is set to begin filming in April. Hey Eva, if there is a shortage of dating contestants, I would love it if you could set me up with a hottie! [Fox News]
“I wear braces. Look how crooked my bottom teeth were, and I never even knew … I wasn’t allowed to wear makeup when I was young. I would melt crayons and try to put them on my lips, and I would use watercolor for eye shadow.”
—Eva Longoria confesses in the new issue of In Style that she recently got braces. But I’m more interested in how creative she got in making up her face as a kid. Isn’t that the same thing they do in jail? Regardless, I like Eva sans makeup best. [InStyle] Keep reading »
