With Emma Watson doing photo shoots for Elle and looking all grown-up these days, no one is saying much about Bonnie Wright. What, you don’t know who she is? Well, Bonnie is the gal who plays cute little Ginny Weasley in the “Harry Potter” flicks. More importantly, in “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince,” she and Daniel Radcliffe totally make out. It looks like the gorgeous and uber-talented Emma Watson will not be forever typecast as Hermione Granger. Her next role will be in a musical version of “Cinderella” with (dun dun dun) Marilyn Manson! Manson will be the producing the film, but there’s no word on the director yet. Watson will be singing and acting in the flick, which will be her first film outside of “Harry Potter.” Because I’m not counting the TV movie “Ballet Shoes” or “Tales of Despereaux.”

“Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” will hit theaters this Wednesday, July 15, and we can barely contain our excitement. We haven’t seen the film yet, but New York magazine reviewed it, saying some pretty nice things. One aspect that writer David Edelstein took issue with was how good-looking Emma Watson has become. While he says all three main protagonists have all grown up and matured, Edelstein doesn’t think Emma fits as Hermione anymore—she’s not nerdy and awkward enough.

Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson stepped onto a very soggy red carpet last night for the world premiere of “Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince” in London. Even completely soaked and standing under umbrellas, the cast still looked magically delicious—except Helena Bonham Carter who wore an unsurprisingly witchy ensemble. But the torrential downpour was not the only hurdle to clear for the premiere. [Daily Mail]

“Harry Potter” actress Emma Watson, 19, is on the cover of Teen Vogue‘s August issue. She looks all grown up, posing in old school Britastic clothing in the English countryside. Despite being famous since she was 10, Emma isn’t really a limelight lover. She is going to college and plans to do it up normal-person style. She’s majoring in English and will even be living with roommates. We understood why she is not all about being famous after she said so many ‘razzi showed up to her 18th birthday that she couldn’t get out the door. The “Harry Potter” actress, who was just recently unveiled as the new face of Burberry, must have caught the fashion bug on set. Word on the street is, she’s in the beginning stages of designing a clothing collection with a twist: all proceeds will go to charity. Apparently, Karl Lagerfeld of Chanel is giving the actress tips on design. Okay, so can we expect lots of tweed jackets fit for a witch? [NYMag.com]

Today, the Daily Mail U.K. asks, “Is Emma Watson the new Kate Moss?” Hold up a minute there! That’s a pretty heavy crown to even think about bestowing. After all, the person to take Kate Moss’s place has some big shoes to fill. It must be someone who has staying power, room for supreme f**k-ups, the ability to rebound, and be a trendsetter for life. Clearly, Watson is a fine contender, having already started in Kate’s Burberry footprints. Yet, we’d like to put some other ladies in the running for becoming fashion’s holy grail.
