Woman Tries To “Scare” Boyfriend Into Proposing

Some women really, really want to get engaged. Like Ana Perez! She was so desperate for her boyfriend to propose that she called the cops. See, it was New Year’s Eve and she really wanted her man to drop down on one knee, so, to coerce him, I guess, she called the police and said he was attacking her. When the po-po arrived, she confessed that she’d made the whole thing up because she wanted them to “scare” and force her boyfriend into proposing. Apparently, he needed the prodding, as before the 911 call was made, he was in the process of breaking up with her. Something tells me Perez isn’t heading to the altar anytime soon. Lesson Learned: Probably Not A Good Idea To Call 911 After A Bad Mani

OK, we get the disappointment and annoyance when you get a crappy manicure. Most of the time, however, we just shut up, begrudgingly hand over the 15 bucks and live with it. That’s not the case with one Florida woman who decided to call 911 after something (it’s not quite clear what) went wrong during her manicure. She ended up calling 911 several times—once because she wasn’t satisfied with the officer who arrived on the scene and a couple other times because she claimed her long nails kept hitting the “redial” button on her phone.
