Happy Anniversary, Woodstock! Hippie Chic Is Back

WWD came up with a fun project to help celebrate Woodstock’s 40th anniversary. Because designers have been long-inspired by hippie style, they asked several young designers–including current fashion darling Alexander Wang and Jeremy Laing–to sketch their own interpretations of hippie chic. We’re especially fond of Prabal Gurung’s fantastical skirt made up of music fans from the Woodstock crowd and Peter Som’s flowing two-piece frock surrounded by colorful swirls.
