So You Think You Can Dance Does Duffy’s “Mercy”

On last night’s So You Think You Can Dance, contemporary choreographer Mia Michael’s composed a dance for contestants Twitch and Katie that went along with one of our favorite songs of the summer — Duffy’s “Mercy”. Summer TV usually sucks, but the one show I am always so psyched for is So You Think You Can Dance. Produced by the American Idol team, SYTYCD features some of the most talented people I have ever seen on a reality TV show, without any of the annoying schmaltz. The first episode featuring the first round of auditions and one person who seriously stood out was Robert Muraine, a self-taught pop-and-lock street performer from Los Angeles.
