If we’re to believe the news being leaked out of Coachella Festival headquarters, this year’s double weekend Coachella Festival, held in Indio, California on April 13-15 and April 20-22, is going to be like taking a fantastical ride in the wayback machine to the mid-’90s. Supposedly the fest’s headliners are No Doubt, Foo Fighters and Radiohead. And also appearing: Fiona Apple (!), Chris Cornell, Underworld (remember “Born Slippy”?) and Nada Surf. Oh sure, there are some current bands playing too — like Best Coast and Wild Flag — but the headliners are all a zillion years old.

What is that? It’s the sound of Zuma Rossdale, Gwen Stefani‘s adorable 3-year-old son, trying to oust Shiloh Jolie-Pitt from her current spot as Kate’s Favorite Celebrity Kid. For his birthday, Zuma dressed up in a Captain America costume and went with mom to get a manicure and pedicure. He choose red and blue nails, of course. This photo—and the memory of Shiloh’s military garb—makes me long for the days before kindergarten, when gender distinctions just weren’t a big deal and you could wear a costume out just because. [E! Oh God, I am so embarrassed. You’ve caught me drooling. I’ve been starring at this picture of Gwen Stefani at the amfAR gala at Cannes and didn’t even realize I was salivating. She looks so chic — and it’s her own design. Yep, this black halter-neck, mermaid-train gown, with gold belt detail, is from her L.A.M.B. line. Someone needs to be dressing actresses for the Oscars next year! Dang, remember when she used to wear nothing but cut-off white tank tops?

– Gwen Stafani in the May issue of Elle. I don’t know exactly what she means. Is she saying she loves the visual of herself? Or that she is obsessed with the way things look? Well, whoops! In this month’s British Elle, Gwen Stefani gushes about her Christian Dior wedding dress, designed by none other than the infamous John Galliano. “When I got engaged and someone told me that John said he would make my dress, I was like, really?” the star told the magazine. “I said I wanted it to be over the top, but not traditional — I wanted it to be everything. But how do you tell this genius over the phone? He was, like, OK, and sent me these drawings of this unbelievable, perfect dress. It’s going into the V&A [Victoria & Albert Museum] now. I didn’t want to send it because I was scared it would get ruined. But it’s a work of art, it needed to be seen.” Of course, this was all before the big anti-Semitic scandal broke out, but still, we imagine it’s gotta make Gwen squirm just a little. Freelance writing may have dried up for a lot of journalists, but the well has not yet run dry for Tavi. The 14-year-old fashion blogger got a gig a million girls would die for interviewing Gwen Stefani about her L.A.M.B. line for Teen Vogue! Writing in the February issue, Tavi initially revealed herself to be wary of celebrity-designed lines. “I can’t say I’m enthusiastic about the recent celebrity-turned-designer trend. In fact, I’m a skeptic,” she wrote. “Too often I feel people are expected to drop a couple hundred dollars just because X celebrity was good in Y sitcom, thus somehow making X’s design abilities top-notch.” Agreed.
