And cue the Nicollette Sheridan backlash. Earlier this week, Nicollette filed a $20 million lawsuit against ABC, claiming that she was slapped by “Desperate Housewives” executive producer Marc Cherry in 2008 and that she was eventually written off the show over the incident. But according to Radar, ABC has come up with an eye witness who saw the whole incident unroll. The witness has signed an affidavit and has agreed to testify in court that there was no slap. Instead, this person says that Cherry patted Nicollette on the head while giving direction, which sounds condescending and annoying, but not abusive. “People on the show feel this is a nuisance suit,” a source tells them. “But if she makes the rounds of the talk shows, it could get ugly for Marc.” [Radar]

Even though Edie was totally detestable on “Desperate Housewives,” something tells me that Nicollette Sheridan didn’t deserve the palm-to-the-face allegedly delivered by her boss, producer Marc Cherry. She’s currently suing the studio for damages and wrongful termination after Cherry killed off her character shortly after their kerfuffle. After Teri Hatcher also supposedly complained about Cherry’s abuse, he allegedly said, “I hope [she] gets hit by a car and dies.” Geez, he must be a great guy to work for.
Hollywood seems to be a breeding ground for tyranny and narcissism. Here are nine more of the scariest bosses in Tinsel Town. Keep reading »
It’s easy for me to say this, considering I am The Best Boss In The World ®, but Marc Cherry suckkkkks. He’s the creator of “Desperate Housewives,” which makes him pretty douchey in my book because I hate that show, but allegedly, he’s an abusive douche to members of the cast and crew. Nicollette Sheridan — who played Edie on the show until the character was killed off — just filed a $20 million lawsuit against Cherry for assault and wrongful termination. Drama on Wisteria Lane! Yesterday, on “All My Children,” Reese and Bianca got married, creating a milestone in matrimony. The first lesbian wedding on daytime TV was a real Kleenex-fest! With enough tears of joy to float everyone’s boat, the whole affair was a beautiful spectacle and a timely push for equal rights, in light of the struggle to stop Prop 8. But dang girls, you just got hitched — we could have used some more hot action to go with those warm fuzzies! And the same sex lovin’ is headed from daytime to primetime — supposedly Eva Longoria and Teri Hatcher are slated to suck face on this season of “Desperate Housewives.” It’s hard to imagine that this peck on “L.A. Law” caused such a scandal back in 1991! I’ve put a thermometer in my mouth with more passion. Anyway, all these awesome story lines combined are a clear sign that the times, well they are a changin’. So now that we’re feeling the love, here are our favorite scenes of lesbian lovin’ on TV… Keep reading »

For the last few weeks, and up until this Sunday, it’s been a big time for TV addicts — so many shows are back! And with them comes the hot dudes that make the shows worth watching (well, in addition to awesome stories, great acting, etcetera). After the jump, 10 TV actors we’re so psyched to have back in our lives, including John Krasinski (“The Office” returns tomorrow night!) and Gale Harold, a new addition to “Desperate Housewives” (premiering this Sunday) whom we’ve loved since “Queer As Folk”.
