David Beckham To Launch Underwear Line Because This Apparently Needs To Exist

Soccer Star and Man Who Gets Paid To Take His Shirt Off David Beckham has announced that he’ll be launching a line of men’s underwear. Wait—so this didn’t already exist before? Beckham is known for walking around in his skivvies, perhaps most famously in his hot Armani underwear ads. So to us it seems 100 percent natural that Becks would have his own designs. Do Not Want: The Brazilian Blowout

We’ve been hearing about the warnings of formaldehyde in Brazilian Blowout treatments for a few months now, but this New York Times article really caused us to question if we’d ever do the beauty treatment again. Increasingly, salon owners are setting up ventilation rooms or having their employees and customers wear masks to avoid inhaling fumes, which is a pretty good indication that you’re getting exposed to serious chemicals. Further, it’s very vague and ambiguous at the moment as to whether the amount of formaldehyde in Brazilian Blowouts is harmful (you’ll hear several different assertions). It makes us think that if you can’t get an answer, best to just avoid it altogether. One more thing to note: you should also be careful about any other Keratin products or Keratin-related treatments, as these have been found to contain carcinogens as well. Do your research; ask questions; check your labels! [New York Times] Keep reading »

First, the shoe facts. The boots are made by Noritaka Tatehana, they cost $6,500, and the invisible heel is nine-inches tall. One of the other women who tried on the pair took a spill, and Davis needed assistants to make sure she didn’t fall and crack open her skull. Her conclusion? These boots aren’t easy to walk in, but they sure are show stoppers. [StyleList] Keep reading »

Top 10 Reasons Bold Brows Are Best

I’ve always been drawn to thick, dark eyebrows. I love the drama and definition they bring to the face, and I get so excited when “bold brows” are declared a trend (this has happened approximately once a year for the past 50 years) and fashion designers start sending models down the runway with giant black smears over their eyes to really drive the point home.

That might be an extreme example, but seriously, strong brows are the best, and here are my top 10 reasons why … [Above: Camilla Belle rocks some awesome arches] Keep reading »
