Tina Fey was on Conan O’Brien last night and had a funny story about meeting Sarah Palin during their mutual “Saturday Night Live” taking.

“Governor Palin was like, ‘Oh did Alice go home? Oh, cause Bristol woulda babysat.’ She offered Bristol Palin to babysit Alice… And it was Bristol’s birthday, too. I was like yeah, that’s exactly what 17-year-old Bristol Palin wants to do at SNL is babysit the toddler of the lady that goofs on her mom… but they’re a nice family.”

On last night’s “Weekend Update Thursday”—“Saturday Night Live”‘s special election coverage—Will Ferrell showed up to do a skit as George W. Bush, with Tina Fey as Sarah Palin. It was gosh darn hysterical and definitely a teaser for the material Ferrell is going to do in his upcoming comedy show, “You’re Welcome America—A Final Night With George W. Bush”, coming to Broadway in February 2009. One quibble about the skit—Tina’s new bangs are all wrong. [Variety]

This weekend Sarah Palin did Saturday Night Live and her Double-D doppleganger did a skin flick for Hustler called “Nailin’ Paylin!” So, how does the porn star stack up next to Tina Fey’s dead-on impression? Last night Governor Sarah Palin, the Republican nominee for Vice-President, made not one, but two cameos on “Saturday Night Live”. I have to say, she was pretty funny! Although, if she and her handlers think all the talk of her hotness is sexist, is she contributing to the sexism by doing a skit where Alec Baldwin tells her she’s “way hotter in person”? Whatever, I laughed. Everybody wants Amy Poehler.  And rumor has it, she’s going to give it to primetime! SNL’s Emmy-nominated, crazysexycool comedianne has been in talks to join the cast of a much buzzed about spin-off of The Office.  So far, one of the funny men of Human Giant, Aziz Ansari, is slated for the show, but there’s still no word on who is going to play the Steve Carrell-style boss role.  While Amy seems to be the top contender, the problem is she’s knocked up for reals, like her character in Baby Mama—except with her real husband, Will Arnett, not Tina Fey. The spin-off was set to start taping in the fall so it could air after the Superbowl, but that would also coincide with her baby bump making its debut. But we think Amy can do anything! After years of following the boys around and living in their shadows, which sometimes went astray, Tinker Bell is taking the lead! At least in four direct-to-DVD movies Disney will be releasing over the next few years. Tinker Bell’s star turn begins this October with the cleverly titled Tinker Bell, followed by Tinker Bell: North of Never Land in 2009, Tinker Bell: A Midsummer Storm in 2010, and Tinker Bell: A Winter Story in 2011. 30 Rock was finally back on TV last night, after the long hiatus during the writer’s strike. We’re thrilled! And so must be the media, because Frisky fave Tina Fey is on two major magazine covers this month, Marie Claire and Entertainment Weekly. (She’s also got the comedy Baby Mama coming out soon, alongside Amy Poehler.) Oh, and on last night’s episode of 30 Rock, Liz Lemon was disgusted by the network’s latest hit, MILF Island. The “lists” Maxim comes up with drive us a lil’ crazy. A few months ago they published their list of the “least sexy” female celebrities, which was topped by Sarah Jessica Parker. This time around they have a list of “not traditionally pretty women” that they would totally “do”. How mature and generous of them to flatter these fugly women with their boner’s approval! So who’s on the list? Tina Frickin’ Fey for one, who we totally adore and would do too, but because she’s gorgeous, funny, brilliant, and smart.
