I’m a self-described reality TV junkie. I watch it all, including Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, Jon and Kate Plus Eight, America’s Next Top Model and I’ve recently taken up a new addiction to VH1’s I Love Money. But I have to say I’m less than excited about the reality show Ashley Dupre is reportedly developing. Dupre, as you may remember, was the high-priced hooker that took down New York Governor Eliot Spitzer earlier this year. And now it seems she is looking for love and romance…or just more notoriety in the same fashion as A Shot At Love’s Tila Tequila. I guess I’m just totally sick of these celeb-reality stars thinking the American public is dumb enough to believe you can find love under the watchful eye of a production team. And I ask you, what exactly does Dupre have to offer in the ways of love? As far as I know, love has never been a job requirement of prostitution, although perceived romance has. Dupre would better serve society by developing an instructional reality show on how to make copious amounts of money with only a few hours of work. On last night’s season finale of A Shot At Love II, Tila Tequila offered her heart to Kristy, who then promptly turned her down. The two of them really seem to be acting, and badly, and this just reinforces my gut feeling (and the internet rumors) that Tila isn’t bisexual, but knew she had to pick a lady this time around to keep up the facade. Having Tila get dissed just adds more drama AND opens up the door to season three of this crap fest. Sigh. I miss Laguna Beach.

Remember Tila Tequila?  As MTV’s A Shot at Love serves up a second round, I’m reflecting on season one, when I first fell for Tila.  A bisexual bachelorette sitting pretty on the fence? So my thing. And you know what?  I believed in Tila Tequila.  Right up until the finale, when she gushed to the winner, “In the end, I chose a man…I can be your wifey!”  Wait…wifey?! We’re supposed to be progressing here.  Bicurious experimentation is practically a right of passage for college women – and that’s ballin’ for sexual liberation.  In fact, according to a study by the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics, same-sex sexual encounters between women have nearly tripled in the last decade. On April 22, Tila Tequila is getting a second shot at love…and by love we mean a reality TV game show. Even after she jilted her hot lesbian flame, firefighter Dani for macho meathead Bobby, MTV has agreed to give the bisexual body-shot lover another chance to drink and wive.  OK, we get why Flava Flav and Bret Michaels have dating shows—they were both in popular ‘80s bands and somehow manage to still have groupies.  But Tila?  Her claim to fame is having a lot of MySpace friends, which, let’s face it, takes more slutty pictures and free time than talent. Honestly, if that is what it takes to get your own TV show, maybe we should all start accepting those never ending friend requests from creepy old dudes and crappy bands. [MTV]

On Monday’s episode of our favorite daytime talk show ever, The Tyra Show, the supermodel discussed the “trend” of bisexuality. Tyra mainly discussed bisexuality as a trend amongst women—let’s face it, two chicks doing it is a fantasy for most men, while two dudes doing it is considered “gay” and “gross” (unless you’re our friend Lindsay, who loves herself some gay male porn!). We don’t really think that bisexuality is much of trend, so much as a sign that people are more open-minded sexually in general—but we were super psyched to take Tyra’s on-hand shrink’s “bisexuality test.” Surprise, surprise! We’re totally bi—mainly because we think Tila Tequila (who was a guest on the episode) is hot, have kissed a girl, and enjoy the occasional girl-on-girl porn. So how do you rate?
