Nicole Richie’s House of Harlow 1960 jewelry line was an instant success. So now the expectant mother will bring another baby, literally and figuratively, into the fashion world. Nicole has entered into a multi-year, multi-product deal with the owners of Modern Vintage shoes and Earnest Sewn jeans, Rick and Brian Cytrynbaum. And first on the product list is a 20 style footwear line designed by Nicole herself, which will debut in spring 2010, along with a small assortment of handbags, apparel, sunglasses and belts. The line hasn’t been named and the price point hasn’t been set, yet. But the Cytrynbaums expect it to do well based on Nicole’s fashion icon status. Rick said, “Nicole Richie is by far one of America’s biggest fashion icons right now. We’re investing millions into this brand. This is like nothing out there right now.” And we can’t wait! We’re hotly anticipating the release of Nicole Richie’s jewelry line, “House of Harlow 1960”, named for daughter Harlow as well as her love for the 1960s style.  From what we’ve seen previewed, everything, from the chunky bangles to the drapey necklaces, is covetable. This is some sad news. DJ A.M. (real name: Adam Goldstein), best known as Nicole Richie’s ex-fiance, and Travis Barker, of the band Blink-182 were involved in a very serious plane crash early this morning in South Carolina. Both are being treated for serious burns, but are alive. Unfortunately, four others in the private jet were not as lucky, and were killed with the plane crashed and caught fire. One of those killed was Chris Baker, Barker’s assistant. The group was flying on the private jet in an effort to get back to California quickly after Goldstein and Barker played a show because Baker had just found out his wife had gone into labor. Barker promised to get him home as quickly as possible to be with her—freaking tragic. The two pilots, as well as Barker’s bodyguard, were also killed. Barker and Goldstein are being treated for their burn injuries and are in critical, but stable condition. [DListed]

The Frisky definitely has a love/hate obsession with Rachel Zoe—we love her because she’s such a ridiculous character that she’s impossible not to watch, but we hate her because she’s grossly skinny and shallow. But I realized that perhaps many of you didn’t know who SHE is and why she has her own TV show. Here’s a little background on the pint-sized stylist with the fake tan, big sunglasses, and loads of jewelry that we’ll be spending our Tuesday nights with on Bravo.

LOVES: Born Rachel Zoe Rosenzweig in 1971 to art collector parents in New Jersey, Zoe dropped her last name in favor of her middle when she began her career as a fashion stylist—and FYI, it’s supposed to rhyme with “faux” or “dough” (or “slow”!). While studying sociology and psychology at George Washington University (she graduated in 1993), Zoe met her husband Rodger Berman, an investment banker. As the two have been married since well before she was “famous”, any other boyfriends are unknown, but Zoe has always said her first love (we assume besides her hubby) is fashion.

Shia LaBeouf was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Now, he’s not the first celeb to be accused of driving while intoxicated. Above, see a handy chart showing how much time stars have served recently after being convicted of driving while drunk or on drugs. Most celebs get probation for their first offense, but since Shia had that incident in Walgreens, the judge might not be so nice. Our bet is that if Shia is convicted and sentenced to jail time, he’ll be on the lower end of the scale and serve approximately 85 minutes. [AP]

Sadly, now my hip, hot record collection favorites are being marketed towards new parents so they can bring the classics of classic rock to their kids. Awwww…ugh. When the album you lost your virginity to is on the list (i.e. Nirvana’s Nevermind) it just seems like another sign that you’re are supposed to be squeezing out lil’ screamers by now. But alas, for those actually with mini-me’s the music series features great artists like Led Zeppelin, No Doubt, Bjork, Radiohead and yes, even Metallica, Tool, and Queens of the Stone Age all done over again soft and sweet for nap time. Nicole Richie and Scott Baio spin them for their celebuspawn, because after all, it’s never to early to teach your kid how to headbang to a xylophone heavy rendition of Nine Inch Nails’ The Hand That Feeds.  [Ad Freak]

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie will not be having a double wedding, even though that would make best use of the paparazzi’s time. Paris told E!, “I think we both would want to have separate weddings,” but she loves being part of the foursome. And her BF Benji Madden is getting all sentimental and sappy: “I’m so beyond happy. Paris is my best friend. I’ve never been so happy. Nothing worries me in life anymore. When you find that best friend, that love, all your worries kind of go away. Your work gets better and everything you do, you have someone supporting you, and she’s that for me.” I feel overwhelmed with love. [AHN]
