The Frisky definitely has a love/hate obsession with Rachel Zoe—we love her because she’s such a ridiculous character that she’s impossible not to watch, but we hate her because she’s grossly skinny and shallow. But I realized that perhaps many of you didn’t know who SHE is and why she has her own TV show. Here’s a little background on the pint-sized stylist with the fake tan, big sunglasses, and loads of jewelry that we’ll be spending our Tuesday nights with on Bravo.

LOVES: Born Rachel Zoe Rosenzweig in 1971 to art collector parents in New Jersey, Zoe dropped her last name in favor of her middle when she began her career as a fashion stylist—and FYI, it’s supposed to rhyme with “faux” or “dough” (or “slow”!). While studying sociology and psychology at George Washington University (she graduated in 1993), Zoe met her husband Rodger Berman, an investment banker. As the two have been married since well before she was “famous”, any other boyfriends are unknown, but Zoe has always said her first love (we assume besides her hubby) is fashion.

Not like we haven’t already seen Lindsay Lohan’s whole kit and kaboodle thanks to the paparazzi, bottle service, her refusal to wear panties, and that little Marilyn Monroe-inspired shoot for New York. But Playboy just offered the hottest lesbian in Hollywood $700,000 to pose nude for their magazine. Surprisingly enough, Lohan said “NO!” It’s amazing how love can change a girl. I can’t tell if this decision was brilliant or a bomb, but here’s how other stars have fared after telling Hugh Hefner to bug off, plus fifteen stars who’ve said “Yes” to Hef and have seen their stars sky rocket—and tank.

Lesbianism is such a hot topic, some celebs even seem to be capitalizing on the media coming out party.  While faux-mo’s make us want to barf, in general, the mainstreaming of what was once considered counterculture is exciting. Now heteros can finally play Indigo Girls’ records in public without being judged!  But who are the trailblazing scissor sisters bridging their community? Lovebirds Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson got matching tattoos when they were in Miami last week. Lindsay already had a white heart on her hand between her thumb and index finger, but she had it outlined in black. Samantha had the same black heart done on her hand. Lindsay also got a red star tattooed on her right hand to match the red stars Sam has on her right arm. While tattoos in honor of a lover often lead to regret, the two aren’t in bad company since many of our favorite equally inked couples are still together, though some are not…
