Do you ever feel old while watching movies like “Mean Girls” or shows like “Gossip Girl” and “90210” because you’re completely out of the characters’ age range? Sometimes I do. I think to myself, “Why is this stuff so entertaining to me? I don’t have these issues anymore. Am I losing precious brain cells by watching fluff?” Well now we can enjoy bitchy entertainment without remembering our age, thanks to a little movie called “Bride Wars.”

While the film “My Best Friend’s Girl” could be easily classified as a typical rom-com judging by the misleading commercials and cheesy poster, its filth factor actually pushes it into the “gross humor” category. And that is what made me love it even more. I cracked up the whole time, but I will forewarn you—Dane Cook haters should not pay the $11 bucks to see this film.

Dating is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get. Sometimes, your date may make Forrest Gump seem like a Mensa member. Falling in love takes time, but chemistry is instantaneous. This week, Kate Hudson admitted she ditched out on one first date with a banker before they’d even ordered dinner.

Long hair is a major trend for young men these days, with Kate Hudson’s son, Ryder, as its poster child. Personally, I think little boys with long hair look like girls, but once they’ve gone through puberty, that’s another story (Smith Jerrod on SATC before he shaved his head, anyone?). Amelia and I were discussing how guys with longish hair (shoulder length or shorter) can be very attractive, as long as they take care of it. I asked a friend of mine who has long hair for his rationale for growing his hair out. “I never set out to ‘have long hair,’ I just stopped getting it cut,” he said. “I liked it more and more the longer it got—it just kind of “fit” (And it became much more practical when it got to ponytail length.) Most guys who find long hair appealing already have the requisite style and personality to pull it of, so it usually works out. Oh, and the ladies love it. Really.”
