Hip-hop star, Kanye West, was seen all over New York Fashion Week with a new lady on his arm. His rumored girlfriend is Amber Rose. Amber is known for rocking red shiny spandex pants, posing for a provocative spread in Smooth Magazine, being one of Rihanna’s BFFs (Amber claims she coaxed the singer into rocking the short hair cut) and being a video vixen. She’s appeared in such rap videos like Ludacris’ “What Them Girls Like” and Young Jeezy’s “Vacation.” But Amber may best be known for liking the ladies too. Rumor has it, Amber Rose is (or was) a lesbian.

The rumors surrounding Chris Brown’s alleged assault on Rihanna are getting out of control. It’s like all of Hollywood is potentially involved in whatever blowout occurred before the supposed incident, as everyone from Jay-Z to Leona Lewis has been mentioned as somehow “involved.” After the jump, we break down all the rumors—yes, they’re just rumors—surrounding RiRi and Chris Brown’s weekend scandal.

In Rolling Stone‘s cover story on Britney Spears (on newsstands today), the singer describes some recent dates she’s been on, all “supervised” by her assistant. While none of the dates have been successful, it goes without saying that post-Federline and post-breakdown, Papa Spears is keep a very close eye on who his daughter hangs out with. While some say Britney still holds a candle for Adnan Ghalib, we think she should drop that trash and, when she’s ready, find herself a man who’s not going to use her. Who knows what her mom and dad will approve of—they don’t seem to want too many people to get close to Britney and her millions—but we have some suggestions that could totally work.

Kanye West debuted the video for his single “Love Lockdown” on “The Ellen Degeneres Show”, while Britney Spears’ “Womanizer” video will air on “20/20” this Friday—“TRL” really is so over.

There are a handful of songs in the running for the title of “Song of the Summer,” and London-born Estelle’s song “American Boy”, featuring Kanye West, is one of them. Jon and I tend to be a bit skeptical of hype, so we watched the video, and then talked about label whores and dating short people.

Jon: Fast Fact: I know that Estelle is performing at a Hamptons club this coming weekend. That’s all I know about her.
Catherine: I don’t know anything about her. Except that she has a bob and dances funny. And has a British accent.

Kanye West is a lil’ cocky and we like it! While giving a Grammy acceptance speech for Best Rap Album, the producers tried to usher him off the stage, cuing up the music while our baby tried to thank his mama. But he let everyone know he wasn’t done, and we weren’t done checkin’ him out either. Bound and gagged, Kanye’s got junk in the trunk and is happy to let a woman in lingerie beat him.
