Kanye West has done the impossible: made himself look like a bigger tool than we already thought he was. Mr. West and on-again girlfriend Amber Rose wore these tack-tastic fur frocks to a Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris. Kanye West probably has a few New Year’s resolutions after his disastrous year of jerkiness, from snubbing Taylor Swift to generally being all about himself. His diva behavior can be traced back all the way to 2005, when at the Red Cross fundraiser for Hurricane Katrina, West made the controversial statement live on-air that, “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.” Some people applauded West for his words while others thought he was way out of line. Either way, it looks like the folks behind tonight’s “Hope for Haiti” telethon don’t want to take a chance on the rapper. They’ve taken the pre-emptive strike of banning West from the event.

Like a scared child, Kanye West fled the United States after his booze-induced outburst during the MTV Video Music Awards. Finally, a whopping four months later, he’s blaming his outburst on his love for the fashion industry.

“This is my first time back in America for the past three, four months. I love the game so much and I’m so passionate about it, that I can’t take (the stress). I’m so anxious, I’m getting anxiety, begging one of these fashion houses to hire me. I said, ‘If you acquire me, I could be a quiet me. Call it verbal dieting.’”

My favorite “country” music singer, Taylor Swift, will be hosting and performing on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, and the promo pays tribute to the Kanye West debacle at the MTV Video Music Awards. Yes, this incident was rather amusing and ridiculous, but I’m gonna be a little annoyed if there are multiple references to it during Saturday’s show. A joke can only be funny so many times. (Oh, and Taylor, please sing “Tell Me Why.” I like that one.)

Another Kanye West and Spike Jonze collaboration? Yes, please. But the rapper’s recent turn in the 11-minute short film “We Were Once a Fairytale” has some people saying, “No, thanks.” The film shows Kanye drunkenly cavorting with women, discovering a rat demon inside him, and later stabbing himself in the stomach. Kanye has since removed the controversial video from his website, but it will reportedly be available for purchase via iTunes eventually. Yesterday, Louis Vuitton follower and fashionisto Kanye West let down his fans, er, again. It seems like forever ago that the rapper announced that he’d be putting out a fashion line called Pastelle, which he first mentioned in the song “Stronger”: “So go ‘head, go nuts, go ape s**t, ‘specially in my Pastelle…” Since then, Kanye’s rocked a few teasing pieces from the supposed collection, like a too-cool-for-school bomber jacket and a borderline corny teddy bear sweatshirt.

MTV deemed Jay-Z 2009’s Hottest MC in the Game, an annual online list, this week. Others on the list included Lil Wayne, Drake, and Kanye West. True to his form, Jay-Z wasn’t the least bit humble about his new title, but he also borrowed a little from Kanye when he said that Eminem deserved to be on the list because of his high album sales this year. Live Nation has confirmed rumors that the Lady Gaga-Kanye West tour, “Fame Kills,” has been officially canceled. Gossip blog MediaTakeOut is reporting the decision was all Gaga — a probable fall-out from Kanye’s much-publicized VMA meltdown (though she was defending him as recently as a couple days ago). I’m not so sure, though — I can think of 10 other reasons these two would cancel a concert together…

“I was thinking, ‘Oh gosh.’ But, like, I would say he’s a good guy and everybody makes mistakes, and he feels so f**king bad. He really does. I think that everyone can get so caught up in gossip and stuff.” I felt like that moment kind of like really portrayed him in a way that he really isn’t. It was just a random moment.”

We’re all a little frustrated with Kanye West right about now, but someone recently vented by editing his now-protected Wikipedia page with enough insults to humble Mr. West for at least a day or two, if that’s even possible. Here’s what the now-gone version of the page said:

“Kanye West is a dope dealing, crack smoking, cocaine sniffing, no talent, immature, cowardly, racist son of a bitch who doesn’t even DESERVE to be on a stage or in a studio. He is also a spoiled rotten Mama’s Boy who screams and cries and stamps his foot and throws a tantrum when he doesn’t get his way. So we knew that controversial man of the hour Kanye West was styling a photo shoot for Elle, but we didn’t guess that his major muse, Amber Rose, would be the one modeling the clothes, which, looking back, was astonishingly stupid on our parts. But everyone makes mistakes. Moving on! Pics from the October issue have leaked all over the interwebs! The results? Well, in-house Elle stylist and Creative Director Joe Zee has nothing to worry about because Kanye will not be stealing his job anytime soon. Then again, I’ve certainly seen worse.
