We’re hotly anticipating the release of Nicole Richie’s jewelry line, “House of Harlow 1960”, named for daughter Harlow as well as her love for the 1960s style.  From what we’ve seen previewed, everything, from the chunky bangles to the drapey necklaces, is covetable. We’ve experienced growing, cooking and smoking herbs (sage, duh!), but it took jewelry designer Metalsgirl to convince us how wearable the plants are, too. Metalsgirl uses herbs like Thyme, Poppy seed, Rosemary, and Scullcap in a lovely line we covet called Resin and Herb. We don’t know anyone who actually uses the phrase, “My heart melts for you,” and the only time we actually see it is when we’re trying to find non-cheesy cards for anniversaries and Valentine’s Day and are stuck with sentiments like that. Yesterday at the Bust Spring Fling Craftacular, I went to Sprout Jewelry’s booth four times to ogle this ring. They only had one for sale and the finger it fit is the one I wear my dang engagement ring on. For some reason, my ring finger on my right hand is fatter. We love it when smarty-pants people, like MIT grads Jessica Rosenkrantz and Jesse Louis-Rosenberg, use their brilliance for things like curing disease and/or making jewelry.
