The New York Times’ Sunday Style section had a story about the celebs who need a makeover in the next year—from Brad Pitt to Madonna, Guy Trebay says these stars need total life makeovers in 2009. So with that in mind, which star do you think is most need of a major overhaul in 2009? [NY Times]

Jennifer Aniston may not be married with six-million children like her ex Brad Pitt, but now she has something on him. Aniston’s movie “Marley & Me” took home an estimated $37 million this weekend, while Pitt’s “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” made $27 million, less than Adam Sandler’s “Bedtime Stories”! Amelia thinks “Benjamin Button” lost because it was about “a gross old man baby” (see photo at left). I think it’s because the dog who played Marley is way better looking than Brad Pitt. To a certain degree, it’s easy to blame Jennifer Aniston for the fact that NO ONE is actually talking about her movie, “Marley & Me,” when she makes TV talk show appearances. But then again, it’s pretty easy to blame the news anchors, as well, who seem utterly incapacitated when it comes to doing their jobs, in the wake of her sexy GQ cover shoot and willingness to talk about Brangelina. It’s been nearly four years since Brad Pitt left Jennifer Aniston and took up with his “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” costar Angelina Jolie. Yet in 2008, one’s alliance with Team Aniston or Jolie has been perhaps as important a statement as being on Team Obama or McCain.

“People are fascinated because many have personally experienced a similar scenario,” clinical social worker Armena Walsh explains. “Having one’s heart broken or being involved in breaking a heart is something people relate to. An obvious draw to this situation is how public the heartbreak was. It’s an issue people have attached moral values to.”

Jennifer Aniston’s much anticipated appearance on “Oprah” yesterday did not disappoint. She clarified the comments she made about Angelina Jolie in Vogue (that the actress did something “uncool” by implying that she and Brad Pitt fell in love while filming “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”), assured everyone that she’s in perfectly happy place, thank you very much, and that she’s totally proud of what Brad Pitt has done with his life in the last few years. She also confirmed she’s back with John Mayer, but that they are not expecting twins. Clip above! I gotta say, I really do like Jennifer Aniston—she seems smart and independent and self-assured. You don’t need to choose to be on Team Jolie or Team Aniston—I’m on both!
