Last night I went and saw Katie Holmes in Arthur Miller’s play “All My Sons”. Now, originally I was going to compare Katie Holmes Broadway debut to Sarah Palin’s VP debate: As long as she didn’t run off the stage screaming, vomit, or totally blank on her lines, then it was a success. But then I realized, this was just too mean for the once lovable Joey Potter. Admit it, we all used to love Katie Holmes pre-Tom Cruise — before she became a robot and was renamed “Kate”.

Remember her on “Dawson’s Creek” as little Joey Potter who, both on-and-off- screen, dated the adorable, age-appropriate Pacey? Remember when she tried to seduce Michael Douglas in “Wonder Boys”, and we kinda wished he’d gone for her? Remember when she actually “acted” in “Pieces of April”, and came pretty darn close to pulling off quirky and deep? See! You used to like her! I did too! BUT, does this mean she belongs onstage opposite the fabulous Diane Wiest and legendary John Lithgow? Hell no, Xenu. But I’ll give her an A for effort.

For starters, you might not actually know much of anything about the model-turned-actor (turned musician!) who was once a Daily Hotness. First spotted as Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter movies, the 22-year old is sure to be the next big thing thanks to the upcoming vampire movie “Twilight” (based on the series of novels by Stephanie Meyer), in which Pattinson plays lead vamp Edward Cullen. He’s been dubbed “the next Jude Law” by the British press, but what more is there to know about this hunk across the pond? Oh, so much.

Harry Potter isn’t afraid to put it all out there. Daniel Radcliffe, who starred as the magical teen titan Harry Potter, earlier this week admitted he has neurological disorder, dyspraxia, which affects his coordination.  But he can still cast a spell on you!  Just check out his pony play spread in the September issue of Vogue.  He’s riding horses and they’re all bareback—giddy up! Although the weird fetal/grandpa shot creeps us out, we’ll blame it (like the Miley Cyrus photo controversy) on famous photographer Annie Leibovitz.  Sure, he says he stripped down to promote the new Broadway play he’s horsing around in—Equus—but we’ll take any excuse to see this barely legal babe in the buff! Yay! The first trailer for Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince is out. Who else besides Catherine is kind of hot for Tom Riddle/The Dark Lord?

Equus, the play in which Daniel Radcliffe appeared naked for 10 minutes each night during its London run last year, is coming to Broadway in the fall. And Daniel is reprising his role.
