While people have been gawking at the “Gossip Girl” crew that’s been filming all over Manhattan, some of the fans aren’t there to get a peek at their celeb crushes. This guy found his heart drawn towards an unknown girl wandering around the set. Hoping to find her, he posted in Craigslist‘s “Missed Connections.”

I am hoping to find the Gorgeous Tan Girl who was wearing White Pants and an Orange or Red Shirt and was with her 2 friends on 2nd Avenue right outside the Gossip Girl set that was filming. We made eye contact many times and I was hoping you would walk in the same direction as I walked but after turning around many times I finally lost you. If you happen to see this, please email me and let me know if you remember or know who I am or what I look like, etc.. I would love to be lucky enough to take you out for a drink.. Joanna Garcia has Chace Crawford eating out of the palm of her hand as they film a scene for “Gossip Girl.” While she might be a little upset that “Privileged” got canceled, cozying up to Chace isn’t a bad gig.

In mid-August, I always start to get a little wistful about how summer is evaporating before my eyes. But then something happens to remind me of all that there is to look forward to in fall. Over the weekend, it was the September issue of Lucky arriving in my mailbox, full of glorious fall clothes. And then today, the CW released a preview of season three of “Gossip Girl.” Enjoy. Now we have to wait until September 14 to see the whole episode.

This week two Gossip Girls went out in public with their bras visible for all the world to see. Leighton Meester attended a Katy Perry concert in a floral dress that revealed her bra and boy shorts, while Taylor Momsen sported a black bra under her bright pink dress at a performance with her band, The Pretty Reckless.

Sheer clothes seem to be trying to make a comeback, and not just among women. At the most recent men's shows of Givenchy and John Galliano, mesh and translucent tops went down the runways. And, now that Leighton and Taylor have showed us their bras, could see-through tops soon become as ubiquitous as bow headbands?

Leighton Meester was spotted on the set of “Gossip Girl” wearing some very cute specs. We loved her nerdy-chic accessory so much that we figured screw it, we want to wear glasses, too (even if we don’t need them). But we’re not the only ones obsessed with the four-eyed look. The Telegraph reports that ever since the new “Harry Potter” movie came out, the wizard’s signature glasses have been selling out like mad, with one company reporting a 100 percent jump in sales of the round-framed style. And apparently, it’s possible to develop a glasses fetish, as one Illinois man did recently, which drove him to steal $45k worth of eyeglasses. Weird.

Oh, no! Is Ed Westwick in trouble? It looks like Chuck Bass could use a good friend right now.

First, his “Gossip Girl” co-star Chace Crawford moved out of the NYC apartment they shared to a place of his own. (It was a lot of heartthrob under one roof.) Then Chace dissed Ed by allegedly not inviting him to his 24th birthday. Cold, Chace. Cold.

If you aspire to attend an Ivy League school, summer in the Hamptons and wouldn’t mind being compared to Blair Waldorf (no, not for one second!), you, my friend, are all about the East Coast prep look. The yacht-hot style has been around for decades, but “Gossip Girl” and the new, utterly repugnant reality show “NYC Prep” are bringing it to the mainstream with a vengeance. Good news is, you don’t have to live on the Upper East Side to look like you do.

So apparently execs over at Target had an opportunity for The Blessed Ones—Serena and Blair, of course—to wear Anna Sui’s “Gossip Girl” inspired Target clothing line on the show, and they turned it down because the teen drama may be a little too racy for their tastes. In fact, they’re shying away from the “Gossip Girl” influences in Sui’s Fall ‘09 diffusion line entirely.

According to The Daily News, “One of Target’s top executives got nervous about being that closely associated with the show, given the [debauchery] its characters get into.” Sure, drugging your friends (yeah, we’re pointing at you, Georgina), and screwing anything that moves (we’re pointing at you, umm, entire G.G. cast), isn’t exactly model citizen kind of behavior, but if this show has taught us anything, it’s that bad behavior doesn’t necessarily go hand-in-hand with dressing badly. Or um, something like that. [Ed Note: Also, it’s just a freakin’ TV show, right? Sheesh!] But what do you think? Is Target making a mistake by steering clear of “Gossip Girl” associations (and missing some mage promotion), or is their concern justified? [Daily News]

Leighton Meester’s foot job sex tape is still under wraps, but we can’t say the same about her new song “Body Control,” which has been leaked on the internet a few weeks ahead of schedule. After her appearance in Cobra Starship’s “Good Girls Go Bad,” we were pumped to hear her solo work. Too bad it sounds like a mediocre Britney Spears track—metallic and overproduced. With lyrics like, “I live to party, party,” and “I’ve become a wild thing/Yeah, uh huh/This music makes my heart sing/Yeah, uh huh,” we just aren’t too impressed. Just goes to show that you can take the headband off the girl, but you can’t take the girl outta the headband. My fingers are crossed that Leighton stays put and soaks up her success as Blair Waldorf while she’s still got it. Just take a little word of warning from the swiftly declining career of that other made-famous-by-Josh-Schwartz girl, Mischa Barton.

Hilary Duff is officially part of the “Gossip Girl” cast and will start appearing in episodes next season, which premieres October 5th. As hipster Vanessa’s new NYU roomate, Olivia Burke, she is looking for a very “authentic” college experience. Personally, I like that she is set to play a character that’s closer to the way she is in real life, rather than just a new kid on the Upper East Side. She was snatched up after NBC passed on casting her in their new show “Barely Legal.” Let’s hope she gets paired up with a love interest we don’t see coming like, oh, Dan Humphrey. [People]

• During her concert, Beyonce gave her microphone to an audience member so he could propose to his girlfriend. He said, “Beyonce, you told me if I like it, I need to put a ring on it,” and then got down on one knee to ask his girlfriend to marry him. She said yes. • Hilary Duff is reportedly joining the cast of “Gossip Girl” next season. She will be playing Olivia Burke, “a movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience.” [Entertainment Weekly]—I think I’ve heard that story before… [Hilary needs all the career help she can get.—Ed.]
• Hayden Panettiere bares all in “I Love You, Beth Cooper.” At age 20, she says, “I might as well show it now!” [PopEater]—Some are calling her baring-all brave, while others are a bit surprised. I’m not.

Taylor Momsen isn’t the only “Gossip Girl” star to be exercising her vocal chords. Leighton Meester (aka Blair Waldorf), has just made her voice known on a new track with Cobra Starfish called “Good Girls Go Bad.” Leighton only sings a few chorus lines, but she’s not bad!
