Graphic novels have always suffered a geek taint, a stubborn case of social acne that alienates certain sects of people. There have always been a handful of Comic-Con cuties, but, overall, society has labeled graphic novels a man’s medium. Yen Press has a solution to bring some girl power to the graphic novel. The publisher is taking female-favored heavyweights and adapting them to fit this medium. This year, Yen Press will be introducing the first installments of both The Twilight Saga and Gossip Girl series. Twilight promises to be loyal to the original novels—Yen is even working with author Stephenie Meyer to capture the right money-making, heart-melting formula. Gossip Girl, on the other hand, is a re-imagining of the story with all the classic characters. I don’t think Twihards will have any problem taking to the new medium—heck, they’ll buy anything Forks-inspired. Gossip Girl may be harder to sell. Oh Taylor Momsen, you’ve come such a far way from your Missouri roots and playing sweet little Cindy Lou Who in “How The Grinch Stole Christmas.” The grunge rock look has been a fairly recent style move (we see her strutting around in crack rock chic in N.Y.C.‘s East Village all the time), and while she’s been spotted wearing this pantsless look and garters often enough lately, she has finally gone where even the sassiest (and sluttiest) of hip downtown chicks will not: She wore her Undie Sue look on her way to the set of “Gossip Girl” today. In the morning. In the middle of winter. Eh, maybe it was just a walk of shame.

So the “Gossip Girl” threesome finally happened and, lemme tell ya, the triple kiss makeout sesh I had freshman year of college was more climactic. I didn’t watch the episode, but was sex just implied and the only thing viewers got to see of this three-way was a little smooching? The only reason, really, to click on that play button is to see Lizzie McGuire french a chick, seriously.

We’ve been sitting at our desks drumming our fingers all day, waiting to go home and catch the much-publicized threesome on “Gossip Girl.” While emails pile up, we’ve been imagining all the possibilities for the nubile young cast. There are so many possible combos of hot people swimming around, falling into each other, and awkwardly gathering their pants in the morning. In celebration, we’ve proposed six possible scenarios.

The Parents Television Council has asked CW affiliates not to air the much-anticipated threesome episode of “Gossip Girl” because airing the teen menage a trois would be “reckless and irresponsible,” said the group’s president Tim Winter in a statement Wednesday. The group says on its website that “the show conveys the message that sex is a tool used to manipulate people.” Although the promos for the “3SOME” don’t say who will be involved, some suspect that it will be the show’s top schemers, Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass, with another major character. The median viewer age is 27 years old, according to a CW spokesperson, a claim Winter said in his statement “doesn’t even pass the ‘laugh test.’” He said “Gossip Girl” is “expressly targeted to impressionable teenagers.”

Looks like someone has been dipping into the unflattering trend pool of yore. Leighton Meester was spotted on the set of “Gossip Girl” making a change from what appears to be the high heels of her costume to a pair of Uggs on her break. (Unless Blair has some scene where she’s trying to be ironic? Doubtful.) Seems everyone except for Jessica Simpson has put Uggs on the banned fashions list, and we know a lot of girls who wouldn’t be caught dead in the winter boots (we really would have thought Leighton would be in that group).

But, you gotta admit ... they are super warm and comfy. Like walking on clouds! So come clean—do you still have those pink Uggs circa 2003 in your closet? Break them out from time to time? [Um, yes, yes I do.—Editor] In public? Blair would never!

Sure, Serena van der Woodsen is supposed to be the talk of the town, but we’re more interested in Blair Waldorf’s prep-school style. This costume has all the naughty school girl appeal with a touch of Upper East Side class. An added bonus? Each piece is really cute and completely re-wearable! Get the deets, after the jump.

I have a potentially major confession to make. While I find “Gossip Girl” entertaining and enjoy the mildly provocative characters—not to mention, Chuck Bass’ beautiful face—the show actually makes me sad. See, I worshiped its predecessor, “The O.C.” The California drama was a victorious, witty, fast-paced and semi-authentic (if not clusterf**ky) portrayal of teenage life at its most dramatic. Though they are essentially the same show set on opposite coasts, the differences are enough to make me scowl disdainfully every time I hear, “That’s one thing I’ll never tell, xoxo, Gossip Girl,” while the Phantom Planet-scribed theme song “California” always made me feel infinitely warm and fuzzy.

Maybe it’s discriminatory to say, but there’s really nothing hotter than two guys making out. And last night marked the first glimpse into Chuck Bass‘s blooming bisexuality on “Gossip Girl”, which was brief but oh so beautiful. There have been shockingly few gay kisses on television, but we’ve rounded up the ones that made history.

“Gossip Girl” character Lily Bass got married for the ten millionth fictional time last night on the show and the wide assortment of wedding attire prompted us to pose the eternal question: How sexy is too sexy for a formal event? Unsurprisingly, Lily’s borderline slutty daughter, Serena, sat at the nearly inappropriate end of the spectrum in a strapless, boob-heavy number with a peek-a-boo skirt, while Dorota held it down on the matronly side. (That lady’s all class.) While we weren’t totally in love with the overdone embroidery on Blair’s dress, she has proven herself the queen of all things proper once again with a chic but still sexy wedding outfit. Nicely done, B.

The CW has gone guest-star crazy! On last night’s episode of “Gossip Girl,” Hilary Duff and Tyra Banks both had major roles, and socialite/designer Tory Burch popped up in a cameo, as did Georgina Chapman, the designer for Marchesa. Hilary is Dan’s new love interest; she plays actress Olivia Burke who enrolls at NYU and becomes Vanessa’s roommate. She was reasonably decent, but since she’s sticking around for a few episodes, we certainly hope that they’ll upgrade her wardrobe from that ill-fitting t-shirt she donned for most of last night’s episode. We certainly don’t watch “Gossip Girl” for tees! The real story, however, was Tyra.

For the first time in a month, there are not a lot of series premieres happening this week. So, it’s time to sit back, relax, and watch the shows you already love. This week, Tyra Banks and Hilary Duff make cameos on “Gossip Girl,” Rachel Zoe has a “fashion orgasm” in Paris, Jim and Pam get hitched on “The Office,” “FlashForward” gets trippier, and Wanda Sykes makes you say hardy har har.
