The movie version of the infamous documentary “Grey Gardens” airs on HBO on April 18—so soon!—and we finally have two trailers to tease you. When we initially heard about the movie, starring Drew Barrymore as Little Edie and Jessica Lange as Big Edie, we were a little worried: Would they do justice to the documentary, which has inspired everyone from Marc Jacobs to Rufus Wainwright? Amelia was especially concerned about Barrymore’s abilities.

I, for one, will be trekking to a friend who has HBO’s apartment next month. The movie goes back 40 years before the documentary was filmed, delving into why the mother and daughter withdrew from society. And, Drew’s accent doesn’t sound half bad! While promoting “He’s Just Not That Into You,” Drew Barrymore revealed that she’s totally into doing another “Charlie’s Angels” sequel. But we aren’t! We think it’s time to let this franchise die. I mean, it has been lying dormant for more than five years. Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Barrymore do exhibit girl power to an extent because they play butt-kicking private detectives. But I’d much rather watch them as well-developed and defined characters in a much less predictable film. It’s about time we have a movie with a serious heroine who doesn’t have to resort to comedy or campy antics, but saves the day with her wits and fighting ability. The guys have done it, now it’s time to let the women have a go. But I guess when it comes to movie-making, art is just not as important as money. We’re pretty used to men’s magazines and media outlets celebrating the world’s most beautiful women—from Maxim‘s Hot 100 to AskMen.com’s upcoming Top 99 Most Desirable Women—but Spike.com has decided to go with a much more negative approach. Movie studios know we will eat up pure sap around Valentine’s Day. As cheesy as it’s probably going to be, I can’t wait for “He’s Just Not That Into You,” which comes out a month from tomorrow. I laughed out loud watching this new trailer, mostly because there are some valid points. Like Drew Barrymore’s character says, “I had this guy leave me a voicemail at work, so I called him at home. And then he emailed to my BlackBerry, and so I texted to his cell. And now you just have to go around checking all these different portals just to be rejected by seven different technologies. It’s exhausting!”

I’m majorly conflicted about the fact that Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange are starring in an upcoming movie based on the documentary “Grey Gardens,” and remain conflicted after watching this first look clip above. Can the two actresses pull off Big and Little Edie Beale, the aunt and first cousin of Jackie Kennedy? Lange, who has certainly proved her acting chops, is less of a concern than Barrymore, in my opinion, not to mention not knowing if the script is any good. The film supposedly goes back years before the documentary and tells the story off how the Beale’s went from being prominent socialites to reclusive hermits living in a rundown estate in Long Island. The film hits HBO in April of 2009.

Armpit hair is a part of all of our lives, however annoying it may be. Most of us choose to get rid of it by regularly shaving our underarms, but, you know, sometimes we forget. Luckily, shaving only slips our mind in the winter when we’re wearing long sleeves and it doesn’t matter as much. Celebrities who have premieres to attend in strapless dresses aren’t as fortunate—and things have gotten worse for them over the years. It used to be that the press only made a big deal about armpit hair if it was European-style long. But now, with fancy cameras and Photoshop, we can tell when someone has even a tiny bit of stubble. Are these celebs purposefully showing up hairy, or was it accidental? You decide.

In the boy buffet that is Hollywood, Kirsten Dunst has been helping herself to a whole lot of sloppy seconds.  She must have picked up some skills in Interview With A Vampire, because Kirsten likes to feast on the blood bath of a freshly killed relationship. It all began back in 2007 when she swooped in on The O.C.’s Adam Brody just a month after he’d broken up with his girlfriend of three years, Rachel Bilson. But she really has it out for Drew Barrymore’s exes!  Less than two weeks after Drew split with Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti, her man of nearly five years, Dunst was already riding him like a show pony all around Hollywood.  Drew, the lady that she is, moved on and found love (albeit brief) with the Mac guy, Justin Long. This week, a little over a month after the couple called it quits, Long was having lunch with Dunst!  There should be at least be a waiting period for how soon you can publicly date after your ex-girlfriend has taken you on Oprah. But Kirsten, she’s a straight up vulture ready to pounce on any meat that’s suddenly back on the market. Sure, Kirsten can blame her behavior on a bad break up with Jake Gyllenhaal back in 2005—just like she did her stint in rehab—but really, pull yourself together woman! Do you really need to lay all the rebounds in tinsel town?
