If you want to host a fancy schmancy dinner party but don’t think your friends want to get all gussied up just to come over to your apartment (where piles of dirty clothes normally cover the floor), make them wear these napkins tucked into their shirts. Who knew paper napkins could make dinner a formal affair? [$5.95 for 20 napkins, The Spoon Sisters]

Bright accessories are everywhere this season, and enamel jewelry is one way of participating in this trend. You can add flair to jeans and a T-shirt, update a business suit with a small punch of color or reinvent your stand-by LBD with these picks. With the right attitude, you can wear enamel jewelry with just about anything. I’m totally craving the Juicy Couture stud earrings and Banana Republic’s Parachute Ring. And the great thing, too, is you don’t have to break the bank to get your hands on this jewelry!

Sometimes all you need to make a t-shirt and jeans fancy is a sparkly ring, especially one in the shape of a flower. I saw these rings and was like, “Sigh, I bet they are out of my price range” but ACTUALLY they are only $25! Dope sauce. [Carolee via Coveiter]

Whenever a package arrived at my doorstep when I was little, my main question was not Is the package for me?, but Does the package include bubble wrap? Bubble wrap had the capability to consume hours of my life with gratifying popping, but it also kept my mind sharp because I would make myself try to remember which bubbles I had already popped. Now, as an adult, I can relive my childhood fetish with the Bubble Calendar. While $29.95 might seem a little steep, that’s for 365 days of popping! [Bubble Calendar]

Who doesn’t want a handful of velvet? It’s soft like a bunny, sexy to the touch, and now it can prevent second degree burns too! The Touch Cups, made by the German porcelain company Kahla, are strategically covered in velvet and come in cool colors. While traditionally the furry fabric is dainty and easily ruined (insert dress stain story here), this durable tea set is like a real woman—it can take the heat and isn’t afraid to get wet (i.e. they’re microwavable and dishwasher safe). These Flight 001 tags make your luggage easy to spot with their “That’s Mine” or “Not Yours” print. They’re made of a recyclable, eco-friendly material that won’t tear or stain. And at $12 for a set of 10, they won’t break the bank. [$12, Flight 001]

You know, pocket T’s have really been kind of out of style for a while now, and I am not sure why. That pocket totally serves a useful purpose, like storing cash when you don’t want to bring your wallet to buy lunch. Anyway, this shirt from Urban Outfitters is super cute and also comes in other colors with an anchor or a peace dove on the pocket. But we like the heart, obviously. [$28, UrbanOutfitters.com]

Dressing for the Fourth of July doesn’t necessarily have to mean going all out with stars and stripes. Take this French Connection top, for example. There’s pink (which is in the same family as red), white, and blue on it, plus the neckline has navy blue sequins, which will shine beautifully in your sparkler picture. [$63.90, French Connection at Nordstrom.com]

I love the idea of adapting out-of-season things for the current season. This plaid screams winter, but is actually the perfect sun dress with a lightweight cotton fabric. And it gets better—the dress has hidden side pockets, just in case you need a place to store last year’s stocking stuffers. [$48, Kimchi & Blue at UrbanOutfitters.com]

Ooooh our fingers are already itching to do some online shopping! Nylon revealed some of the looks from Richard Chai’s upcoming collection for Target and we are foaming at the mouth. Seriously, this stuff better not be disappointing in person like Rogan was. Images of all the hot looks, available in August, after the jump, with my commentary. [Nylon]

I love going sleeveless during the summer because then I know I won’t get an ugly t-shirt tan. How do guys deal with that anyway? Obviously, we’re against tank tops on dudes, but I realize how unfair that is, given the whole farmer tan business. Well whatever. After the jump we’ve picked out nine sleeveless shirts that we think are cute. Some of them are dirt cheap, others are so expensive only Mariah Carey could afford them.

If you couldn’t get your hands on one of last season’s “I Am Not A Plastic Bag” shopping totes, this Rebecca Minkoff bag will make an even better impression. With a nod toward Parisian lifestyle, the front pockets sport your love for the most essential food groups—carbs and alcohol. As an added bonus, the bag is crafted from eco-friendly organic cotton. My dog is always chewing up my ear buds, so right now I don’t have a pair and I haven’t listened to my iPod in about a month. Total sadness. But I might need to buy these, not just because I’m in desperate need, but also because they are adorable, and maybe Lucca will be too intimidated by the pigs to come near them. [Engadget]

Only way classier than a mullet. This is one of those times where I go, “Dammit, why wasn’t I born a Vanderbilt? Then I could afford this dress from Rebecca Taylor, even when it ISN’T on sale!” I love everything about it. It makes my teeth sweat. [$216, ShopBop.com]

These clutches from Beegee Bags look like something my mom would have carried in the ‘60s, and I don’t mean that in a bad way. If one of these was tucked away in her closet, I would steal it. [Beegee Bags]

I was reading this great little blog on Tumblr called Oh, One More Thing, and was inspired by the writer’s love of peacock feathers to do a slideshow of all peacock clothes, accessories, and gifts. There’s something very refined and stylish about the peacock, isn’t there? Check the ten picks, after the jump.

Technically I am against the gladiator sandal trend. I think they look stupid on 90% of the population. But these high-heeled gladiators are something I can get behind because they’re not obnoxiously strappy, they give you some lift which counteracts the stumpy-leg affect of most strappy flats and they’re wedges, which means they are easy to walk in. Sold. [$89, NineWest.com]
