The New York Times’ Sunday Style section had a story about the celebs who need a makeover in the next year—from Brad Pitt to Madonna, Guy Trebay says these stars need total life makeovers in 2009. So with that in mind, which star do you think is most need of a major overhaul in 2009? [NY Times]

If you’ve seen the video of Amy Winehouse smoking from a crack pipe, you might think she would get addicted to anything—drugs, teasing hair, and, now, tanning. Apparently she’s spending hours in her tanning bed, even falling asleep while soaking up the UV light. Amy, if you don’t want pale skin, stores everywhere sell a thing called “self tanner.” [AHN]

Ahh, Glastonbury, the ultimate U.K. musical festival where regular folk hobnob with Kate Moss and risk getting punched in the face by Amy Winehouse. How we wish we could have gone and hung out this past weekend, checking out performances by everyone from Duffy to Jay-Z. There’s good news for the pack of nearly a dozen fashion mavens that came to my Halloween party dressed as Amy Winehouse: she’s launching her own line of cosmetics and accessories!  From hair scarves to liquid liner, the vamp style icon has been in talks this week to create products based on her unique look. Winehouse, who just hosted a makeover/sleepover party this week with Kelly Osborne and her goddaughter, has had her praises sung for more than her sweet 60’s style.  The five time Grammy Award winning voice is poised to send boring boho fashion into style rehab. From Lily Allen to Amy Winehouse, everybody wants Mark Ronson. And we want him too!  Especially after seeing him last night on the Brit Awards (the UK’s equivalent of the Grammys), where he took home the Award for Best British Male. Ronson performed in a tight, 60’s soul-style blue suit, with his name in lights, and the dashing music man showed us how good he is with his hands, accompanying artists like Amy Winehouse on a 12-string guitar. The DJ turned producer has also created two critically acclaimed solo albums and started his own record label, but Mark still hasn’t found what he’s looking for. Just last week, he split with his long-term girlfriend. If you can’t get enough of Mark, here he is in multiples, playing all the members of the backing band in the video for his cover of Radiohead’s “Just”. 

Ever since Nipplegate no TV network has wanted to risk upsetting uptight viewers or the FCC, which may explain why Grammy producers asked Amy Winehouse to wear a long-sleeved shirt during her performance on Sunday’s show. See, Amy’s got a nude pin-up inked on her arm, but instead of saying “no, no, no” to her usual get-up of tight tank-tops and revealing dresses, she got a little more creative. Viewers with a keen eye probably noticed that Amy’s nude tat had a black bra on during the telecast—which she painted on using her trademark black liquid liner. [PageSix.com]

Here are three things that made me tear up while watching Amy Winehouse’s performance and subsequent win for Record of the Year at this year’s Grammys.

That last point made me sort of start to see Amy and Blake as this cute couple, even though trouble seems to follow them (okay, so maybe they invite trouble along for the ride). They seem sort of like soul mates, albeit drug-addicted ones. Can’t they both get their act together and live happily ever after? Or am I being a lil’ Pollyanna? [DListed]
