Something new to be afraid of — or aspire to? A 28-year-old woman in India went to her doctor complaining about an uncontrollable sex drive and died four days later of rabies. From a puppy bite. Yes, puppies can kill you. Rabies, which causes an inflammation of the brain, can trigger hypersexuality shortly before death, according to the UK’s Daily Mail. (Admittedly, the Mail probably shouldn’t be anyone’s first source for medical advice.) The unnamed woman’s puppy bite went untreated for two months, despite the fact that bites from animals should be treated within 24 hours. Unless you want to be in a state of constant arousal for four days, that is. [Daily Mail UK]

The penis and the balls! Such fun anatomy! You may worship the male anatomy, or maybe you have some junk dangling between your legs, or maybe you just wish you did. Penises, while all unique, are not all created equal. Some are more distinguished than others. Just ask Wesley Warren Jr. whose scrotum weighs 100 pounds. We kid you not. Keep on clicking to see the strangest, weirdest, and most notorious phalli in human history. Let the penis parade begin!
SEX MYTH: It is possible to break a penis.
FACT: There is no actual “bone” in a “boner.”
If you believe a single one of these 15 supremely dumb sex myths, then please kindly refrain from fornicating, bumping uglies, banging, knockin’ boots, doing the horizontal dance, playing hide the salami, shagging, injecting the hot beef, doing it, sticking it in and basically anything that could remotely lead to passing on your dumb gene.
Not only are these myths completely common urban legends, but some poor, uneducated sex-haver out there is currently swearing by their validity. This person is probably hoarding all the green M&M’s, avoiding public toilets and installing five hot tubs as you read this. Read more…
Lez-be-honest, you know it’s true: over half of all women are attracted to other gals, according to a study at Boise State University of Idaho.
In a poll given to 484 students of varying sexual orientations, 60 percent of the female participants claimed “some level of attraction to other women,” 45 percent had kissed another woman, and 50 percent had fantasized about another woman. This study provides another example of the fluidity of sexuality, rightfully showing its complexity extends beyond a “do you like penis or vagina?” duality. Yet kissing other women, especially in a college/party environment, has been famously glorified by Katy Perry and others, and in some (some!) cases is done to incite attention or pleasure from male onlookers. Likewise, what does attraction mean? Possibilities include everything from the enjoyment of pornography to the appreciation of another woman’s physique or style. (I don’t make these points to contest the study’s results, only to highlight the subjectivity of the findings.) Keep reading »
“Masturbation can be a form of homosexuality because it is a sexual act that does not involve a woman. If a man were to masturbate while engaged in other forms of sexual intimacy with his wife then he would not be doing so in a homosexual way. However, any man who does so without his wife in the room is bordering on homosexuality activity, particularly if he’s watching himself in a mirror and being turned on by his own male body.”
— This is Pastor Mark Driscoll of Seattle’s fundamentalist Mars Hill Church in his no-doubt enlightening brochure “Porn-Again Christian: A Frank Discussion on Pornography & Masturbation for God’s Men.” Anything other than heterosexual sex is “bordering on homosexual activity” because you’re fooling around with someone of the same sex, duh. The logic, it is flawless! Also, I am as gay as a picnic basket on “Queer Eye For The Straight Guy” being filmed in the Castro District during a Judy Garland Convention. [Queerty] Keep reading »
Any Girl Scout worth her merit badges knows to always “Be prepared!” But my Scout leader never got to the part about doing the horizontal polka out in the woods. Fortunately Mountain Gear, an outdoor sports supply web site, has got any grownup Girl Scout covered. Their “Backcountry Intimacy Kit” — sounds so sexy, doesn’t it? — contains three lubricated condoms, two packets of lube, four wet wipes, four compressed towels and a disposal bag. Making love by the campfire can be sexy, safe and clean! Keep reading »
After a thorough inspection of available costumes for men, I have come to the conclusion that the Halloween industry is conspiring to sabotage dudes’ chances of getting laid. There are just so, so many horribly unsexy Halloween costumes for men. We’ve showed you a bunch in the past, but believe it or not, there are more. Last time I checked, Spam was about as far from an aphrodisiac as you could get. But this is hardly the worst offender. Keep on clicking to see even more Halloween costumes that will guarantee you a sexless Halloween.
Here at The Frisky, we love sluts. When did being in charge of your sexuality become a bad thing? The word first appeared in the English language in the early 1400s as “slutte,” with the meaning being a dirty or slovenly woman. Today, nothing about being a slut has to be off-putting, given the proper accoutrements (condoms, everybody, please!). In fact, having sex for pleasure can be an exercise in healthy living and sound mental health. Promiscuity, and the ability to separate sex and physicality from emotional dependency and attachment, is not something of which to be ashamed.
Let’s take some time to honor proud sluts throughout history!

The world is made up of two types of people: spitters and swallowers. But the spitters and swallowers have at least one thing in common — they’re all tasters and sometimes, when you’re gettin’ down to business, well, things don’t taste so great. That’s where Masque comes in. Masque is “a revolutionary intimacy enhancement product that has been scientifically formulated to conceal the sometimes unpleasant flavors associated with oral sex on your man, and his subsequent climax.” In, heh, layman’s terms, it’s a paper-thin, gel strip — available in chocolate, strawberry, and watermelon! — that absorbs onto your tongue prior to giving head which then conceals the taste of your man’s spunk for 15 minutes. An after-dinner, pre-blow job amuse-bouche, you might call it. And that, we must admit, is something we’re going to have to try.
