Yesterday, I posted an open call for emails from people I’ve given (published) advice to here in the past to let me know whether they followed my advice and/or the advice from commenters, and how they’re doing today. I expected I might hear from people who didn’t like what I had to say, as well as from those who did. I’ve gotten a lot of grief for some of the advice I’ve given, and occasionally — not very often, but sometimes — I’ll have second thoughts about something I’ve said … or the way I’ve said it. Never has this been more the case than with the person you’ll hear from after the jump. She hated my “advice,” and rightfully so. We had some back-and-forth email exchanges afterward in which I said some more things I now regret. I ended up apologizing, but judging from the email she sent yesterday, she’s still pissed. Anyway, it was a learning lesson for me and for that I thank her. I’ve tried to be less presumptuous while still telling it like I see it and doling out “tough love” when it seems necessary, but sometimes I make mistakes. I’m human; it happens. After the jump, check out one of my biggest missteps. Keep reading »
Is there a logical explanation as to why women can’t climax consistently or (in some cases) ever during sexual intercourse? Can a pill, patch, cream, or (gulp) vaginal collagen injection, morph a frigid woman into one who orgasms with male consistency?
The answer: Nobody knows. Naturally. But that hasn’t stopped science, bless its heart, from trying. But should they? A recently released documentary, “Orgasm Inc.,” begs ladies to think twice before assigning themselves to “female sexual dysfunction” a disorder companies are attempting to treat with a variety of fix-its. Director Liz Canner questions whether or not FSD even exists, and advises women proceed with caution. Regardless, below is a quick round-up of some ways the men and women in white lab coats have attempted to tinker and tweak the female libido to reach its full potential. Keep reading »

Whether they are from magazines, websites, or our friends, we are constantly hearing sex tips that are supposed to make our men go wild in bed. Some of these sex tips should never be tried, ever. However, some of them can be done, just not without consulting your partner first. Whether you’re with a serious boyfriend, a new guy, or a one-night stand, these sex tips are never a good surprise. While discussing a finger in his butt, using your teeth during a blow job, biting his nipples, how hard to hold him, or if he wants a rim job may feel awkward over dessert, doing these things without warning (and a green light!) might lead to an even more uncomfortable interaction.
There is nothing wrong with trying new things in bed, but to ensure that you don’t create an “Oh God, did that just happen?!” moment between you and your man, give him a heads-up before trying these five sex moves. Keep reading »
Anyone who has glanced at a Cosmo in a waiting room over the past 30 years likely saw an article about the “G spot,” the elusive area in a woman’s vagina that, if found, provides her with earth-shattering orgasms. Well, allegedly.
Since its inconspicuous discovery, physicians have been conflicted as to whether it exists. In an attempt to set the record straight, we’ve scoured the history books to present these highlights in G spot history along with our own completely unscientific measure of its perceived level of existence at the time. Finally, in the end, we hope to declare its existence fact or fiction once and for all. Read more … Keep reading »
