  • Nov 06, 2009: In Pete Wentz Needs A Makeunder Intervention: "lol. Good one, GreenAura. Another celeb who needs a makeunder intervention is Taylor Momsen. Wowza. Why do all these kids think having black eyes is cute? Less is more, people!"
  • Nov 06, 2009: In Confessions Of A Former Ball Buster: "How is it bad? I agree with Pookie and Riley. I'd rather be with someone who can laugh at himself and give me a hard time now and then, than with someone insecure and humorless."
  • Nov 06, 2009: In Are You A Closeted Uggs Wearer?: "I'm proud to say I don't have any Uggs or Crocs in my closet, and never have owned them. Flip flops are as tacky as I get, and I wear them only in summertime."
  • Nov 06, 2009: In Kelly Osbourne's Style Rules Actually Make Sense: "Good for her. It's nice to see celebs who go through the ugly duckling phase like the rest of us."

Bio

I'm a Southwest Kansas girl who likes to experience new things, I like the same things most urban women do: coffee, shopping, decorating, texting, and travel. But I also enjoy rural life, I like to cook, swim, hunt, fish, explore the outdoors, drive pickups, go hiking and rock-climbing, and love taking pictures. I love working in the darkroom, experimenting with photoshop, and learning new things. I am computer savvy, slightly traditional, independent, and love sipping red wine, or Disaronno amaretto. I am in a great, stable, long-term relationship. I love doing what I can to save the environment, and make a difference in my community. I am not fanatically religious, but identify with agnostics. I have a lot of forward views, but I also like to look at things from a variety of viewpoints. I try to be very open-minded.

“The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that the English language is as pure as a crib-house whore. It not only borrows words from other languages; it has on occasion chased other languages down dark alley-ways, clubbed them unconscious and rifled their pockets for new vocabulary.”
— James Nicoll

“Substitute ‘damn’ every time you’re inclined to write ‘very;’ your editor will delete it and the writing will be just as it should be.”

“For sure, they don’t teach you this in history class, but in colonial times, the person who got left in the stocks overnight was nothing less than fair game for everybody to nail. Men or women, anybody bent over had no way of knowing who was doing the ram job, and this was the real reason you never wanted to end up here unless you had a family member or a friend who’d stand with you the whole time. To protect you. To watch your ass, for real.”
