Bio

I'm a Southwest Kansas girl who likes to experience new things, I like the same things most urban women do: coffee, shopping, decorating, texting, and travel. But I also enjoy rural life, I like to cook, swim, hunt, fish, explore the outdoors, drive pickups, go hiking and rock-climbing, and love taking pictures. I love working in the darkroom, experimenting with photoshop, and learning new things. I am computer savvy, slightly traditional, independent, and love sipping red wine, or Disaronno amaretto. I am in a great, stable, long-term relationship. I love doing what I can to save the environment, and make a difference in my community. I am not fanatically religious, but identify with agnostics. I have a lot of forward views, but I also like to look at things from a variety of viewpoints. I try to be very open-minded.

“The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that the English language is as pure as a crib-house whore. It not only borrows words from other languages; it has on occasion chased other languages down dark alley-ways, clubbed them unconscious and rifled their pockets for new vocabulary.”
— James Nicoll

“Substitute ‘damn’ every time you’re inclined to write ‘very;’ your editor will delete it and the writing will be just as it should be.”

“For sure, they don’t teach you this in history class, but in colonial times, the person who got left in the stocks overnight was nothing less than fair game for everybody to nail. Men or women, anybody bent over had no way of knowing who was doing the ram job, and this was the real reason you never wanted to end up here unless you had a family member or a friend who’d stand with you the whole time. To protect you. To watch your ass, for real.”
