  • Nov 03, 2009: In You Wish Yo Kitteh Ate With Chopsticks: "Whatever kind of cat this is, I need one. I can't deal with how cute this is. Yes, I've watched it three times today. No judging."

Bio

Kate hails from Durham, North Carolina—the land of Jesse Helms and Lucky Strike tobacco, neither of which she likes. After a brief stint writing spam email (seriously), she started out as an editor at Jane Magazine, where she wrote features and embarrassed herself on a regular basis for the Prank column. Kate has written for The New York Times, Newsweek, New York Magazine, Glamour, Radar, and Page Six Magazine. She is also very randomly an expert of competitive college cheerleading, after following three top teams for a year for her book, CHEER!: Inside the Secret World of College Cheerleaders.
