Bio
Nina Carbone isn't a fan of writing in the third person about herself, name dropping book titles by various French Enlightenment philosophers in an effort to sound wicked smaht or writing personal profiles. But, anything for The Frisky! So. Ahem. "Nina" is way more tomboy than couture but still keeps a pretty healthy closet full of Philip Lim, J.Crew, Loeffler Randall, anything nautical-striped and Zara. (Most of which she was only able to purchase after subsisting solely on Lunchables, hardboiled eggs and Doritos for months at a time.) She is big into interiors and has a growing collection of linen napkins and vintage hotel silverware. Nina spent almost six years as an editor at Glamour and has written for Glamour (well, obviously), Self, The Bump (babies, yo), and the travel section of Brides. She's doing the class thing (again—you can never have too many degrees!) at the New York School of Interior Design while concurrently repainting her bedroom every two weeks in an attempt to find the perfect shade of gray. It's harder than you think.
