Poll: How Often Do You Watch Porn?

According to Don Q's Lady Data, 43 percent of men look at porn on a daily basis, while 41 percent look at it weekly. Only 11 percent look at it monthly, and 5 percent never look at it at all (I would guess a portion of that is, uh, LYING). Frankly, these stats don't surprise me, but they may surprise you. What I'm more interested in knowing is how often you gals look at porn. My theory is that men would be shocked at how much porn women actually want. Prove me right!

I would vote never but I don’t find porn gross or offensive to women, I just don’t feel the need lately. Not opposed to it at all.

I don’t watch porn per se but I do enjoy “Real Sex”, “Pornucopia”, etc on HBO though I find myself laughing a lot more than getting “inspired”...
BTW - I didn’t vote so as not pollute the data (I’m pretty atypical on most things anyway)...

I second Jessica, there should be an option for “Occasionally, it just doesn’t appeal to me.” I don’t find it gross or offensive, I’m really just not very interested in it.
So I skewed the results and said I was a man instead. :p

Porn is usually so ridiculous to me - bad acting and stupid dialogue, no chemistry between the actors/actresses, sex acts are too “mechanical” and choreographed, plus the men are disgusting. Maybe I haven’t seen the “right” type of porn yet.

i look at it every now and then, and when i do its girl on girl - and im straight, been with my guy for 5 years.
i think it intrigues me to see whats being done to them, not as much as how amazingly hot they are.
and i have to give the 5% another guy here, my guy doesnt look at it intentionally, as in websites, movies etc. If it happens to be on a show or movie were watching then of course, but he hasnt ‘gotten off’ on any porn since we’ve been together.

I watch porn quite frequently and have a nice little collection. Yeah it is really silly, the acting is horrible, and the sex is overly choreographed, but its sex! I think no matter who you if someone else watching you they are going to think you looking kinda silly doing what you do, cause sex has its awkward moments. Oh and I have two male porn crushes, Evan Stone and Voodoo, so all of the movies I have star one or both of them

@CaleeKay- I’m straight and watch mostly girl-on-girl too. I think it has a lot to do with the guy-on-girl porn mostly depicting men jack hammering their junk into female orifices without much consideration for female pleasure… and not much creativity. Not to say that all hetero porn is bad, just most of what I’ve seen is lame (*ahem* free stuff, I will not pay for porn!), and not to say that girl-on-girl porn is really filmed with a female audience in mind… but, it works for me.

My BF and I watch porn occasionally, but most of it is pretty boring after 15 mins. I have a couple of ones from the 90’s that are better than a lot of stuff today. They were given to me by an ex who thought not enough porn was made with women in mind or they would enjoy it more. He was probably right, but 99% of it is made by men for men. And most of the guys are awful - they shouldn’t show their faces. Sorry - JMO

There is some good erotica out there that targets heterosexual women/couples, but you have to dig for it. I also like to look at man-candy on the Internet; the gay men have some great web sites!

We’ve watched it but not in…four or five years now. I know we’ve both watched the stuff on HBO on-demand, but more for entertainment purporses than for a warm-up.

Ok, so I’ll admit it. I watch it. Regularly. Sometimes with hubby, sometimes alone. I like it all (well not the boring pseudo-acting in between sex scenes).
