Poll: Do You Have An Expiration Date For Dry Spells?
Let's just say that "my friend" is not in a relationship at the moment. She's used to being single, but knows her patterns, and once she gets to the 2-3 month mark without having sex, she usually decides it's time to end the dry spell. When "my friend" told this to another friend, she replied, "Three months? Try a year for me." Boy, did I—I mean my friend—feel bad complaining about a mere 60 days.
So what about you single ladies out there?
How long do your dry spells last?

I was told (by a woman of course) that it was a matter of mind over matter and women can ride it out (unlike men of course).

so if a vibrator ends a dry spell than what exactly does a dry spell mean. i would have assumed it meant not having sex with another person but if masturbation counts my current dry spell goes from 10 weeks tomorrow to less than 24 hours and how is that a dry spell? what does being a woman have to do with it because even in a relationship i have needs that must be met everyday (by someone else, hopefully) or i get cranky.
