Bella's Eclipse Wedding Dress/Gown

”New Moon” hasn’t been released yet, but Twi-hards are already looking ahead to “Eclipse,” the third movie in the Twilight saga. Fans have already started speculating about Bella Swan’s wedding dress, which is described in the novel as an early 1900s design that complements her antique engagement ring. Since they couldn’t get a sneak peek of the actual dress, InStyle.com reached out to nine designers to see how they imagine Bella’s dress. I wish the designers would have included Edward Cullen’s tuxedo in their drawings, but oh well. Check out the sketches after the jump and let us know which is your favorite in the comments.

Um, did Reyes imagine Bella becoming a Bridezilla? Because his interpretation looks like a monster…not a dress.

Rose’s would be my pick of them all.

I hate Twilight and the idea of getting married, but I do like clothes that are inspired by times long gone.

That being said, I like the Max Azria one the best.

As for Reyes’ drawing, I think he either hated this project or is one of those designers who draws initial ideas for /himself/. I’ve met a few costume designers who do not have polished drawings but know exactly what they want and are very capable of conveying that to anyone involved in making the costume.

Lela’s Rose’s drawing looks like Bella is literally pooping ruffles. Why would the train connect to the dress directly over the #&@$%?

I love the fist one but what is up with Reyes’ design? Does it have a head? I like Azria’s too. Fetherson’s just looks like a three year old’s fancy night gown. :\

Lela Rose and Monique Lhuillier are my top two. I absolutely love them, and they seem to fit.
