What’s Madonna’s Sexiest Video?

Paging all Madonnaphiles! The Daily Beast has gone through the trouble of rounding up the “9 Sexiest Madonna Videos” of all time. Some of their picks are spot-on—“Like a Virgin,” “Justify My Love,” “Like a Prayer.” But other choices are downright weird—“Ray of Light” never struck me as particularly sexy. The most notably absent sexy Madonna video? “Human Nature.” You’d think being chained to a chair, spanking a dog, and wearing a latex bikini would count for something in a woman’s career. I’d pick two other offbeat choices instead of “Ray of Light” and “Erotica” which I thought was trying to hard to be shocking, blunting its sex appeal. First would be “Live to Tell” - not sexy in and of itself - because of how beautiful she looked in it and how serene she was. It’s rare to see a calm, contained Madonna. The other would be “Bad Girl.” Again, the subject matter of the video is not very sexy - she’s strangled to death by a party boy after a pattern of risky behaviors - but she looks absolutely stunning in it. And how is it that “Material Girl” didn’t make the cut?

...from her more current videos, I like how she looks in “Give it to me”...from past ones, I’d say “Like a virgin”...
